You must become familiar with a few terms to use ALIKE. The terms and their descriptions are as follows.
3D output
One of the source data for automatic processing (outline figure data in 3D)
3D auto processing
Task to produce 3D modeling on a dedicated server based on user-uploaded EOPs, 3D shape outputs and aerial photos.
ALIKE
Digital twin service that reconstructs terrains and buildings in 3D using aerial photos. With it, the user can produce high-precision and large-scale data such as RD for semi-autonomous driving and HD maps for autonomous driving.
ALIKE Studio Building
Manual authoring tool to precisely model buildings including landmarks, or to view and edit automatically generated building models.
ALIKE Studio DEM
Tool to view and edit automatically generated Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
ALIKE Studio Mask
Mask creation tool to isolate individual buildings by entering the outline of the building.
ALIKE tool
Dedicated tool that helps you efficiently perform manual processes such as creating building masks or correcting terrain errors. It includes ALIKE Studio Mask, ALIKE Studio DEM and ALIKE Studio Building.
Digital Elevation Model (DEM)
Digital model that removes buildings and vegetation from DSM and represents the elevation information of the terrain. It is created through the auto processing.
Digital Twin
A NAVER Cloud Platform service category that provides a cloud solution capable of rapidly building a digital extension world using digital twin technology and applying it to the desired business
Digital Surface Model (DSM)
Digital model representing elevation information on a surface such as terrain or buildings. Created through the automated processing.
Exterior Orientation Parameters (EOP)
One of the source data for automatic processing; external facial expression elements including the camera's 3D coordinates and environmental information at the time of shooting.
Orthophoto
Orthophoto of the ground surface obtained by converting high-resolution aerial photos or satellite imagery data. It removes the distortion caused by terrain to create a right-angle view of the ground, to provide same information as a photo taken from the ground.
Process Monitoring
Menu to check the progress of the processing after you start automatic processing.
Account
Personal account whose roles and permissions are divided into admin, manager, and worker when using ALIKE. It is different from the user account of the NAVER Cloud Platform.
Admin
Role that has master permissions of ALIKE, and is responsible for managing accounts, creating and assigning projects, tracking progress and managing costs.
Manager
Role that manages ALIKE projects assigned by the manager and keeps track of their progress.
Worker
Role that performs the necessary manual tasks in the assigned ALIKE project of using ALIKE tools.
Project
Workspace for creating 3D models using user-uploaded EOPs, 3D figure outputs and aerial photos.
