The Process Monitoring describes how to view the progress of ALIKE project's 3D auto processing and download the results.
Process Monitoring page
From NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Digital Twin > ALIKE > Process Monitoring menus in that order to view the Process Monitoring page.
The Process Monitoring page is composed of the following:
Area | Description |
---|---|
① Menu name | Name of the menu currently being viewed |
② Basic features | Features displayed when you enter the Process Monitoring menu
|
③ Select project | Select the project to view its progress. |
④ Process list | View the progress of 3D auto processing for selected projects |
The Process Monitoring page appears only when you have a project that has run 3D auto processing. If no projects have run auto processing, you'll see a blank page.
Check the progress of processing
The following describes how to check the progress of 3D auto-processing.
Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Click the Services > Digital Twin > ALIKE menus, in that order.
Click the Process Monitoring menu.
From the project list at the top of the screen, select the project whose progress you want to check.
Check the progress of the project.
Item Description Project Setup Step to define the parameters required to run the processing based on the project settings DSM (Digital Surface Model) Step to create a numerical surface model (DSM) by estimating the height of the surface of each image - About 20 minutes are required to prepare resources, and then processing is started
- If necessary, when the processing is completed, click the [Download the output] button to download the output of the relevant step.
Orthophoto for Mask Step to create orthophotos that include occluded areas to extract the outline of a building. ALIKE Studio Mask Steps to enter the outline of a building - Perform manual tasks using ALIKE tools outside of the console
- Display the progress by separating it into the task progress and the review progress
- When you completed all tasks with ALIKE tools, click the [Confirm task] button to start the next step.
DEM (Digital Elevation Model) Step to create a numerical elevation model (terrain model) by removing buildings, trees, etc. - About 20 minutes are required to prepare resources, and then processing is started
- If necessary, when the processing is completed, click the [Download the output] button to download the output of the relevant step.
ALIKE Studio DEM Step to verify and edit automatically generated DEMs - Perform manual tasks using ALIKE tools outside of the console
- Display the progress by separating it into the task progress and the review progress
- When you completed all tasks with ALIKE tools, click the [Confirm task] button to start the next step.
Orthophoto Step to create final ortho photos without any occluded areas - About 20 minutes are required to prepare resources, and then processing is started
- If necessary, when the processing is completed, click the [Download the output] button to download the output of the relevant step.
Automated Building Step to automatically create building models ALIKE Studio Building Step to precisely model buildings including landmarks, or view and edit automatically generated building models - Perform manual tasks using ALIKE tools outside of the console
- Display the progress by separating it into the task progress and the review progress
- When you completed all tasks with ALIKE tools, click the [Confirm task] button to start the next step.
Map Exporter Step to output DEMs, final ortho photos, and building models in a defined coordinate system. - About 20 minutes are required to prepare resources, and then processing is started
- The progress is updated every 2 minutes.
- If any step suddenly stops or fails, contact us through Customer Support > Contact Us in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
- You can check how to use ALIKE tools for manual tasks in the user guide provided separately. See the user guide for each tool.
Download results
Once the 3D auto processing is complete, you can download the final results. The following describes how to download the final results.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Digital Twin > ALIKE menus, in that order.
- Click the Process Monitoring menu.
- When all processing progress is marked as Completed, the [Download 3D processing results] button will be activated at the bottom of the screen. To run the 3D auto processing, click the [Download 3D processing results] button.
- The results data is moved to the temporary storage.
- Click the [Download 3D processing results] button again.
- The final results are downloaded in the local PC.
- When the download is complete, click the [Delete the download temporary storage] button to empty the temporary storage.
Temporary storage used to download data is a paid service. Be sure to empty it when the download is complete, as billing will continue for as long as you keep the data. It doesn't mean that the entire data is deleted; only the files temporarily moved for download are deleted.
Download intermediate outputs
In the DSM, DEM, and Orthophoto steps, you can download the output of the completed task separately. You can use the intermediate output data to check the intermediate state of processing.
The following describes how to download the intermediate output.
- Click the [Download output] button for the processing step you want to download the output for.
- The output data is moved to the temporary storage.
- You can download all or specific outputs.
- Click the [Download output] button again.
- In the download output pop-up window, select the data you want to download and click the [Download output] button.
