If you completed the above, then you've completed the basic procedure for using API Gateway. Afterward, you have the option of proceeding with the following tasks for more efficient API Gateway management and operation.
- Management of administration permissions using NAVER Cloud Platform's Sub Account
These tasks can be done after requesting subscription for Sub Account rather than in API Gateway, and this process is not explained in detail in this guide. For more details about how to use it, refer to the Sub Account Guide.
Request API Gateway subscription
The following describes how to request subscription to the API Gateway.
- Connect to the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Application Services > API Gateway menus in that order.
- Click the [Request subscription] button.
- Read the Terms and Conditions, agree to them, and then click the [Request Subscription] button.
- On the Request service subscription pop-up window, click the [Confirm] button.
There is no cancel subscription procedure for API Gateway. If a created product is deleted, then you won't be charged anymore.
Create Product
The following shows how to create a API Gateway product.
- Connect to the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Services > Application Services > API Gateway menus in that order.
- Click the My Products menu.
- Click the [Create product] button.
- Enter information of the product to create and click the [Create product] button.
- Name: name of product
- Description: Enter the description for the product.
- Subscription type: Select product subscription type.
- Public - voluntary subscription: Anyone can use the product API.
- Protected - authorization required: The publisher needs to authorize the use of the product API.
- From the Create product pop-up window, click the [OK] button.
