In Getting started with API Gateway, once you've reviewed the API Gateway user environment, specifications, full quickstart, and glossary, learn what you need to do to use API Gateway properly.
Getting started with API Gateway includes the following:
- How to subscribe to API Gateway in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- How to create the Product of API Gateway in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Once you complete these steps, you have finished the basic process required to use API Gateway. Afterward, you can perform the following tasks for more efficient API Gateway management and operation.
- Operational permissions management using Sub Account in the NAVER Cloud Platform.
You can perform this task in Sub Account after subscribing to the service, not in API Gateway, and this guide does not describe it in detail. For detailed usage instructions, see the Sub Account user guide.
Subscribe to API Gateway
To subscribe to API Gateway:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click Region & Platform at the upper right of the console interface.
- Select the Region in use and the platform, and then click [Apply].
- At the upper left of the console interface, click the icon
. - Navigate to Services > Application Services > API Gateway.
- Click [Subscribe to the service].
- After reviewing and agreeing to the terms of service, click [Subscribe to the service].
- In the service subscription confirmation popup, click [OK].
There is no separate procedure to unsubscribe from API Gateway. If you delete the created Product, charges no longer apply.
Create Product
To create the Product of API Gateway:
- Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Navigate to Services > Application Services > API Gateway.
- Click the My Products menu.
- Click [Create Product].
- After entering the information for the Product to be created, click [Create Product].
- Name: Enter the name of the Product.
- Description: Enter the description of the Product.
- Subscription type: Select the Product subscription type.
- Public - open subscription: Anyone can use the Product APIs.
- Protected - approval required: Publisher approval is required to use the Product APIs.
- In the Create Product popup, click [OK].
