Once you've reviewed the API Workflow supported environments, specifications, and quickstart, you're ready to start using the service. Your first step is subscribing to API Workflow.

Subscribe to the service

API Workflow does not have a separate subscription process. You can access the service from the API Workflow menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

To access the API Workflow menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform console:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region and Platform in the top right corner of the console interface.
  3. After selecting your region and platform, click [Apply].
  4. Click i_menu in the upper left corner of the console interface.
  5. You can now access the service from Services > Management & Governance > API Workflow.

Generating API Authentication Keys

In order to use NAVER Cloud Platform's APIs, you first need to create a NAVER Cloud Platform authentication key. To create an API Authentication key, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Go to My Account > Manage Account and Security in the upper-right corner of the console.
  3. Enter your password and click the [OK] button.
  4. Go to Security Management > Access Management.
  5. Click the [Create New Authentication Key] button.
  6. Check the Access Key ID and Secret Key of the generated API authentication key.
  7. Check the Access Key ID and Secret Key of the generated API authentication key.
    ## NCP Signature Authentication

To use NAVER Cloud Platform's APIs, you must first receive NCP Signature authentication. Once you’ve registered your NCP Signature, you can call NAVER Cloud Platform APIs using API Workflow without having to configure any signature settings.
You can register your NCP Signature authentication information from the Workflow menu, or during initial API registration by selecting NCP Signature as the Authority. See Registering NCP Signatures for more information on how to register your authentication information from the Workflow menu.
