    Device Management explains how to check the information of blocked mobile devices and control the status of each device.

    Device Management screen

    On the NAVER Cloud Platform console, you can click the Services > Security > App Safer > Device Management menus in that order to check the Device Management screen.
    The Device Management screen is laid out as follows

    Check blocking status details

    The following describes how to check the details of blocking app execution.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Security > App Safer menus in that order.
    3. Click the Device Management menu.
    4. In the search filter at the top of the screen, specify the range of blocked records to view, and click the [Search] button.
    5. Check the blocking history that appears at the bottom of the screen, and click an item to check detailed information about the device.
      • Blocked time: the time app execution has been blocked
      • UDID: a device identifier generated by App Safer itself
        • You can identify multi-device users by comparing User ID values
        • One device may have different values ​depending on the app
        • You can check the app installation status by comparing it with the package name
      • OS: the mobile operating system of the device
      • Package name: the package name of the app registered in App Safer
      • Country code: the country where the app is executed
      • Detection type: items detected in the blocking policy
      • Status: current status of the device
      • Device model: model of the device
      • App version: app version registered in App Safer
      • Mobile carrier: the mobile carrier used by the device. If there are dual USIMs, only the information on the first activated USIM is provided.
      • AppSafer version: version of applied App Safer
      • Network type: network type of Wi-Fi, cellular data, etc.
    Note

    Country code, mobile carrier, and network type may not be collected depending on the privilege of the app.

    Change device status

    You can change the status of blocked devices. The range of available changes is as follows:

    • Unblock: unblock the blocked device.
    • Handle as exceptions: handle blocked devices as exceptions. Exception-handled devices are not blocked by the blocking policy even after they are unblocked.
    • Disable handling as exceptions: remove those devices handled as exceptions from Handle as exceptions again. After that, it is affected by the blocking policy in the same way as other devices.
    Note

    If you unblock or remove from Handle as exceptions, the relevant details will disappear from the blocking history and statistical data.

    The following describes how to change the device status.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Security > App Safer menus in that order.
    3. Click the Device Management menu.
    4. In the search filter at the top of the screen, specify the range of blocked records to view, and click the [Search] button.
    5. Among the blocking history that appears at the bottom of the screen, click the device whose status you want to change, and select tit.
    6. Click the desired button among the buttons on the list.
      • The status of the selected device is changed.

    Check statistics

    You can check the total block history for the last 3 months as statistics. The following describes how to check the statistics.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click the Services > Security > App Safer menus in that order.
    3. Click the Device Management menu.
    4. Click the [Statistics] tab at the top of the screen.
    5. Check the statistical data displayed in the screen.
      • Blocking trend by detection type: check blocking status by detection type

      • Monthly number of active/blocked devices: check the number of blocked devices compared to the number of devices that executed the app in a month

      • Total blocking ratio: check the ratio of blocked devices to the total number of devices that executed the app

    Note
    • You can click on each statistical category to hide or show that category.
    • If linked with Effective Log Search & Analytics, you can check more detailed statistical data. Check it in the Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics menu of the console. For details on how to use the service, see the Effective Log Search & Analytics User Guide.
