The PRISM Live Studio mobile app provides the settings menu for overall app configuration and providing information. The settings menus consists of various option setting items and information providing items.

To move to the settings menu to configure necessary options, follow these steps:

  1. Launch the PRISM Live Studio mobile app.
  2. Click the b2bpls_profile icon in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Click the b2bpls-mypage_gearwheel_button button in the profile section of My account.
  4. Move to the settings menu.

Settings menu

My account

The My account area displays information about the account with which you logged in for using the PRISM Live Studio mobile app. The account information consists of the profile icon, platform badge, and nickname.

  • The profile icon, platform badge, and nickname are based on the information provided at the time of signup.
Caution

The mobile app does not provide a feature to edit profile icon, platform badge, and nickname, so changes cannot be made after signing up.

  • The social media account's information used for signing up and logging in to the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is sourced for account information.
  • During the use of the service, service users' account information in the live platform of the company they have signed up with is used.

Account management

To log out , go to My account area > Account management. Click log out to log out of the PRISM Live Studio mobile app. Upon logging out, all personalized content set within the app is deleted.

Live settings

The Live settings area includes options related to live streaming.

Live service account

Under Live service account > Integrated services, you can integrate accounts for live streaming. Integration of accounts with the live platform of the company you signed up for is also possible.
By integrating a Live service account with the target platform, the B2B PRISM Live Studio mobile app can access more features and information using the login details from the integrated service.

Video settings

The Video settings area contains options for video recording and editing.

Video stabilization mode

You can configure and utilize the video stabilization feature provided by iOS through the Video stabilization mode item.

Note

The Video stabilization mode is only available in the iOS app.

Off

If you don't want to use Video stabilization mode, set to Off. When using Video stabilization mode, the PRISM Live Studio mobile app uses additional resources on the device to handle the feature. This may affect the quality of the live streaming video. If the device's performance is not sufficient for live streaming, do not use the Video stabilization mode.

Standard

The Standard mode provides smooth video in situations with lots of movement by activating the video stabilization mode. This mode brings a slight delay in video processing.

Cinematic

The Cinematic mode offers more stabilized video compared to the Standard mode. However, it comes with a longer delay than the Standard mode and requires more system memory.

Extended cinematic

The Extended cinematic mode provides an even more stabilized video than the Cinematic mode. However, it comes with a longer delay than the Cinematic mode and requires more system memory.

Auto

The Auto mode allows the system to automatically selects the most appropriate video stabilization mode based on the device and video format. More delay may occur depending on the situation.

PRISM PC connection settings (CONNECT menu)

You can connect the PRISM Live Studio mobile app with the PRISM Live Studio PC app or PRISM Lens app through the CONNECT menu. You can utilize the camera or screen images from the PRISM Live Studio mobile app with camera sources of the PRISM Live Studio PC app or the PRISM Lens app. The PRISM PC connection settings is an area for configuring this feature.

Type of the screen

Within the Type of the screen, you can select between Select upon connection or Preset when connecting.

Select upon connection

When Select upon connection is selected, you're required to select the type of the screen to share each time the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is connected with the PRISM Live Studio PC app or PRISM Lens app through the CONNECT menu.

Preset

When Preset is selected, the preset screen to share is used each time the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is connected with the PRISM Live Studio PC app or PRISM Lens app through the CONNECT menu. Select Camera share, Screen share, or VTuber share as the type of the screen to share.

Screen resolution when connected

You can select the resolution to be applied when the camera or screen images from the PRISM Live Studio mobile app are shared with the PRISM Live Studio PC. You can select 1080p, 720p, 480p, or 360p resolutions.

Screen bitrate when connected

You can select the bitrate to be applied when the camera or screen images from the PRISM Live Studio mobile app are shared with the PRISM Live Studio PC. You can select 1000 kbps, 2000 kbps, 3000 kbps, 4000 kbps, 5000 kbps, or 6000 kbps bitrates. If an excessively high bitrate is set, the sharing of videos may not proceed smoothly.

  • For 1080p resolution, a bitrate of 4000 to 6000 kbps is recommended
  • For 720p resolution, a bitrate of 2000 to 4000 kbps is recommended

Remote control settings

You can configure settings related to PRISM Live Studio's remote control feature. You can use the PRISM Live Studio mobile app as a remote control for the PRISM Live Studio PC app or another PRISM Live Studio mobile app by connecting the apps using the CONNECT menu. Prevent screen lock while using remote control

While the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is being used as a remote control, you can prevent the screen from locking. If no commands such as touch are entered to the smartphone device running the mobile app for a certain period, the screen may automatically lock. This setting prevents the screen from locking while using the remote control feature.

Haptic feedback

You can receive haptic feedback when touching buttons while the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is being used as a remote control. The streamer's gaze is directed towards the streaming screen during live streaming, so it may be hard to recognize the precise touch of remote control buttons. Setting haptic feedback helps prevent incorrect operation of the remote control buttons.

General

The general area is designated for general feature settings and information providing items.

Hide watermark

You can also hide the watermark that appears automatically at the bottom right of the live stream.

Note

In Custom RTMP streaming, which integrates platforms by directly entering RTMP information rather than integrating the platforms through a live service account integration method, the watermark is always displayed.

Allow display above other apps

Screen live and background streaming features are available. Screen live is a live mode utilizing the smartphone's screen as a live streaming video. To use this live mode, you need to enable the Allow display above other apps item. The background streaming feature enables continuous live streaming even when the PRISM Live Studio mobile app is switched to the background. To use this feature, you need to enable the Allow display above other apps item.

This item is available only in the Android app.

You can ask questions or report issues while using the app. Clicking this menu sends an email to the official PRISM Live Studio team address.
Fill out the following fields and click the [Send] button to submit: The more detailed your environment info and inquiry, the easier it will be for the PRISM Live Studio team to identify the issue and provide support.

Privacy policy

Privacy policy describes the process of collecting, using, and processing the personal information of app users by NAVER Cloud Corporation, the provider of the app. To use the app, you must agree to the Privacy policy, and the agreement process is included in the signup process.

Terms of use

Terms of service regulates the rights and obligations between app users and NAVER Cloud Corporation, the provider of the app. To use the app, you must agree to the Terms of service, and the agreement process is included in the signup process.

Open source license

You can view open source license information used in the PRISM Live Studio mobile app.

App version

The PRISM Live Studio mobile app displays the version of the update currently installed.

  • Versioning rules: for example, in version 4.1.2, the first digit (4) indicates a major update, the second digit (1) a minor update, and the third digit (2) a hotfix update.
  • The versioning system operates differently for Android and iOS apps.

Account management

Click Manage account to go to the account management menu.

Delete your account

To delete your PRISM Live Studio mobile app account, go to Manage account > Delete your account. Upon deleting your account, all information set in the app is disappears and cannot be recovered. Even if you rejoin, the deleted data is not recovered.

  • Deleted data upon deleting your account: live broadcast title and description information, live broadcast streaming quality settings, My Studio resource registration information, the email address, profile icon, and nicknames collected for signing up the app and integrating streaming platforms

Lab

Lab is an area where you can try experimental features provided in the PRISM Live Studio mobile app. This area is only for Android users and items in the lab area may be adjusted based on the app's operational situation.

Streaming with a chat view

During live streaming in the app, the chat list from the live streaming platform is displayed in the bottom left corner of the live streaming screen. This area is visible only to streamers and is invisible to viewers.
However,​if you enable the Streaming with a chat view, you can include the chat list from the target streaming platform in the live broadcast video.

Note

Use the PRISM chat widget feature provided in the My Studio menu for more convenient use of the feature.
