    The PRISM Live Studio mobile app provides various types of camera effects. Effects are largely categorized into camera effects, Beauty effects, and Color effects. You can create more varied videos by utilizing effects in Live broadcast. Effects can be used in all modes provided by the PRISM Live Studio mobile app, such as [LIVE], [VIDEO], and [PHOTO].

    Note

    The features of effects may be adjusted seasonally according to NAVER Cloud Platform operation policies.

    Camera effects

    Click the magic wand button located at the bottom of the app screen to use camera effects. Clicking the b2bpls-magic_stick button displays the Camera effects menu at the bottom of the app screen. Selecting an effect type additionally exposes a list of sub effects for that type. You can expand or reduce the size of effect list area by clicking the b2bpls-effects_arrow button at the top of the list.

    • Camera effects use significant resources of the smartphone device handling Live streaming according to the circumstances. If the device performance is deemed insufficient or if the device is not in good condition such as overheating, temporarily suspending the use of camera effects can help ensure the quality of Live broadcast.
    • Camera effects may be automatically added or deleted based on NAVER Cloud Platform operation policies. In general, effects are not deleted frequently, and new effects suitable for the current season are continuously added.

    Favorites effects

    Clicking the b2bpls-star button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the Favorites effects list.
    If you long-press the individual effect icon or use individual effects, the effect is automatically added to the Favorites effects list. Adding effects to the Favorites effects list enables you to gather various types of effects, facilitating quick exploration and use of them during Live broadcast.
    You can find the [Edit] button in the top right corner of the Favorites effects list. You can delete the entire Favorites effects list or remove specific effects from the list by clicking the Edit button.

    Mask effects

    Mask effects are automatically applied to your face. You can add variety and fun to your Live broadcast using mask effects. These effects can cover some of your face, or its entirety. Some effects respond to your eye and mouth movement.
    Clicking the b2bpls-mask button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the Mask effects list. Effect category buttons such as [HOT], [WINTER], and [ALL] are provided in the top left corner of the Mask effects list.

    Note

    Mask effects continuously track your face in real time, so it can induce high CPU usage. If quality issues occur in Live broadcast, temporarily suspend the use of mask effects.

    Background effects

    Background effects are automatically applied to the background of the live screen. Fixed background effects and background effects with animations are available. Using background effects can bring significant changes to the atmosphere of the Live broadcast.
    Clicking the b2bpls-frame button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the Background effects list.

    Emotion effects

    Emotion effects are automatically applied to the live screen when clicking the effect item. Various effects associated with different emotions are available, making them useful for displaying your reaction to viewers. Some emotion effects are displayed at a random position on the screen, while some emotion effects are displayed at fixed locations. In addition, some emotion effects cannot be used simultaneously with Beauty effects.
    Clicking the b2bpls-heart button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the Emotion effects list. Emotion effects category buttons such as [RandomTouch], [Greet], [Congrats], [Awesome], and [Love] are provided in the top left corner of the Emotion effects list.

    GIPHY effects

    GIPHY effects consist of GIF stickers and images registered on the GIPHY website. With the availability of numerous GIF stickers and images on the GIPHY website, you can find and use the GIPHY effects that suit your preferences. Up to 4 GIPHY effects can be simultaneously placed on the screen.
    Clicking the b2bpls-sticker button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the GIPHY effects list. Effect category buttons such as [@PRISMLiveStudio], [Trending], [Reactions], [Thanks], [Hi], [Love], [Animals], and [Holidays] are provided in the top left corner of the GIPHY effects list.
    The [@PRISMLiveStudio] effect category contains the effects registered by the PRISM Live Studio team within the GIPHY service. You can search for effects by clicking the b2bpls-effects_search button located in the top right corner of the GIPHY effects list as well.

    Draw

    Draw is distinct from other effects in that it does not involve selecting provided effects. Instead, it allows you to draw the images you want directly on the Live broadcast screen. It's mainly used when forwarding specific images or information to viewers through the process of drawing.
    Clicking the b2bpls-drawing button in the Camera effects menu moves you to the Draw menu.
    Various options are available in the Draw menu. You can select between a general pen and a highlighter pen using the pen type button. You can set the pen size to 5 different levels through the b2bpls-effects_penpoint button. You can use 25 pen color buttons to set the doodle color. You can cancel the most recent action with the [Undo] button. You can delete all doodles collectively with the b2bpls-bin button.

    Beauty effects

    Click the face-shaped button at the bottom right of the app screen to use Beauty effects. Clicking the face-shaped button exposes the [Beauty] and [Color] buttons at the bottom of the app screen. Selecting the [Beauty] button enables you to configure or use Beauty effects. During the configuration of Beauty effects, the front camera of your smartphone captures your face to set up the effects.
    The Beauty effects menu​​ commonly provides a slider for adjusting the effect application level, as well as [View original] and [Reset] buttons. The slider enables you to apply the level of effect from 0% to 100%. You can find the [View original] button at the bottom right of the Beauty effects settings screen. If you click the [View original] button during Beauty effect configuration, you can easily compare the appearance before and after applying the Beauty effect.
    You can find the [Reset] button at the bottom right of the Beauty effects settings screen. Clicking the [Reset] button during Beauty effect configuration enables you to reset the application of Beauty effects.​

    The available Beauty effect options in the PRISM Live Studio mobile app are: Shape, Smooth, Blush, and Lips.

    Shape

    Adjust the shape of your face with the Shape option of Beauty effects. An effect application level of 0% represents the original state. As it approaches 100%, the face shape becomes slimmer and the face size becomes smaller.

    Smooth

    Adjust the condition of your skin with the Smooth option of Beauty effects. An effect application level of 0% represents the original state. As it approaches 100%, the skin becomes smoother.

    Blush

    Adjust the color of your cheeks with the Blush option of Beauty effects. An effect application level of 0% represents the original state. As it approaches 100%, the cheeks become redder.

    Lips

    Adjust the color of your lips with the Lips option of Beauty effects. An effect application level of 0% represents the original state. As it approaches 100%, the lips become redder.

    Beauty effects preset

    The PRISM Live Studio mobile app offers Shape, Smooth, Blush, and Lips options for configuring Beauty effects, but you may encounter difficulty in finding your optimal combination of settings. To assist with this, the PRISM Live Studio mobile app offers Beauty effects presets: Cute, Natural, and Sharp.
    Each preset type is initially configured with Shape, Smooth, Blush, and Lips options tailored to its intended purpose. You can also fine-tune the settings of individual options by clicking the preset button of each type.

    Cute

    The Cute Beauty effect preset has a focal point of adjusting your image on the screen to appear cute.​

    Natural

    The Natural Beauty effect preset has a focal point of naturally adjusting your image on the screen.

    Sharp

    The Sharp Beauty effect preset has a focal point of sharply adjusting your image on the screen.

    Color effects

    Click the face-shaped button at the bottom right of the app screen to use Color effects. Clicking the face-shaped button exposes the [Beauty] and [Color] buttons at the bottom of the app screen. Select the [Color] button to use Color effects.
    Effect category buttons such as [Natural], [Selfie], [Vivid], [Warm], [Cool], [Film] and [Mono] are provided in the top left corner of the Color effects list.

    Natural

    Color effects in the Natural category have a focal point of applying colors with a natural feel to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are N1, N2, N3, and N4.

    Selfie

    Color effects in the Selfie category have a focal point of applying colors that enhance your face on the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are S1, S2, and S3.

    Vivid

    Color effects in the Vivid category have a focal point of applying vibrant and vivid colors to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are V1, V2, V3, V4, and V5.

    Warm

    Color effects in the Warm category have a focal point of applying warm and soft colors to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are W1, W2, W3, W4, and W5.

    Cool

    Color effects in the Cool category have a focal point of applying cool or cold colors to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5.

    Film

    Color effects in the Film category have a focal point of applying colors with a cinematic feel to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5.

    Mono

    Color effects in the Mono category have a focal point of applying monochromatic black and white colors to the Live broadcast screen. The current Color effects in this category are M1, M2, M3, and M4.
