- V1: an abbreviation that refers to the Classic environment
- V2: an abbreviation that refers to the VPC environment
- Before learning Basic Security concepts, you must also familiarize yourself with the precautions for each security service. For precautions for each security service, please refer to Prerequisites for using Basic Security.
VPC
It describes the features of IDS provided by Basic Security in the VPC environment.
IDS (V2)
It detects attacks against the user's service in real time. It supports the user's service to operate securely by monitoring them 24/7. The provided features are as follows.
- Application of IDS detection rules
- Detection, analysis, and response for security attack attempts and intrusions
- Creation of detection rules for latest attack threats
- Delivery of analysis report in the event of a suspected security incident
Classic
It describes the features of IDS and Anti-virus provided by Basic Security in the Classic environment.
IDS (V1)
It is the same as IDS support content in the VPC environment. Please refer to VPC > IDS (V2) on this page.
Anti-virus (V1)
It detects and defends malware. It helps the user's service run smoothly by detecting, isolating, and removing malware from the user's servers via scheduling. The provided features are as follows.
- Server anti-virus support (for Windows operating systems)
- Once-a-day malware monitoring through scheduling
- Isolation and deletion of virus and spyware
- Delivery of detection report and analysis information in the event of suspected malware
- Automatic update of latest detection patterns
