Available in Classic and VPC

This guide describes how to view activity history in the Activities menu of the Cloud Activity Tracer. To access the Activities menu, go to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, click [Console], and then navigate to i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Activity Tracer > Activities.

Activities interface

The basic layout of the Activities screen is as follows:

Component Description
① Menu name Current menu name.
② Basic features
  • [Learn More About the Product]: Sends you to the About Cloud Activity Tracer page
  • [Refresh]: Click to refresh resource activity history
③ Search component View activity history based on service, region, account, activity, and time period
  • Product: Select a service and the service's resource type
  • Region: Select a region for your resource activity history
  • Account Type: Select the account that performed the action
    • Customer Account (Main Account): The customer's main account.
    • Sub Account: Displays a list of currently created sub-accounts. Select a sub-account from a list to see its activity history.
  • Activity: Enter the activity you want to track
  • Period: Choose the time period for the activity history you want to retrieve
    • You can select choose 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 3 months
    • Activity history will be stored for up to 90 days before being deleted
④ Activity list Displays a list of all collected resource activity data
Note
  • Activity history will only be stored for up to 90 days. For long-term storage, create a Tracer and place it in Object Storage. (See Create tracer)
  • Resource activity history may change with changes to service structure. Example: Changes to service names, region codes, etc.

View detailed activity history

To view detailed activity history:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region and Platform in the top right corner of the console interface.
  3. After selecting your region and platform, click [Apply].
  4. Click i_menuin the upper left corner of the console interface.
  5. Navigate to Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Activity Tracer.
  6. Click the Activities menu.
  7. Click [Details] for the entry that you want to view in detail from the activity history.
  8. Check the activity details pop-up window for basic and detailed information.

    • Show changes: Click to prioritize changes to the activity history
      • Blue: Added
      • Red: Deleted
      • Yellow: Changed
    • Value: Shows current resource values after any changes. Will not show any values if the value was deleted.
    • Value before change: Displays the previous value for resources. Will not show any values if no changes have been made.
Note

Not all resource activity types are supported by the Show changes feature.
