Cloud Activity Tracer is a service provided by NAVER Cloud Platform that offers user account activity logs (access logs) performed through the console and APIs.

Cloud Activity Tracer features

Cloud Activity Tracer offers these key features:

  • Provides visibility into account activities: Stores account activity logs performed through the console and API calls, including task time, task details, task results, service name, resource type, Region, account type, and request type. The stored activity logs enable efficient management and monitoring of activities within the account.
  • Enables easy log collection and query: Automatically collects account activity log information without additional integration work. Various filters are provided for easy querying and tracing of account activity logs.
  • Provides detailed information for each log and supports audit log usage: In addition to common item details, detailed information for specific activities is provided (e.g., when creating a server, CPU_Count, Storage_Size, MAC_Address). Collected information is retained for 90 days and can be used as audit logs.
  • Provides Object Storage integration: Allows exporting Cloud Activity Tracer log data to Object Storage for long-term retention.
