Caution Issued certificates work properly on compatible operating systems and software. Before use, be sure to check the [compatibility of the issued certificate](/docs/en/certificatemanager-cmissuedcertificate-feature#%EB%B0%9C%EA%B8%89%EB%B0%9B%EC%9D%80%EC%9D%B8%EC%A6%9D%EC%84%9C%EC%9D%98%ED%98%B8%ED%99%98%EC%84%B1). ## Compatibility of issued certificates Check the operating system and software versions that support certificates issued by NAVER Cloud Trust Services. | Operating systems and software | Recommended specifications | | --- | --- | | Microsoft Windows, Windows Server | Certificate trust list (CTL) updated after March 26, 2019 | | Mozilla NSS | NSS version 3.60 or later | | Google Android | Android version 12 or later | | Google Chrome | Chrome version 102 or later | | Apple macOS | macOS version 13 (Ventura) or later | | Apple iOS | iOS version 16 or later | | Apple iPadOS | iPadOS version 16 or later | | Apple watchOS | watchOS version 9 or later | | Apple tvOS | tvOS version 16 or later | | JAVA | - Supported JAVA environments: OpenJDK (excluding Oracle) - Unsupported JAVA environments: Oracle JDK, Oracle OpenJDK | - Visit the [test website](https://test-certificate.naver.com/), which uses an issued certificate, to check in advance whether your operating system and software work properly with the certificate. - If the client environment using SSL/TLS communication is an incompatible version or software, the NAVER Cloud Trust Services root certificate must be installed in the client environment to enable normal communication. To install the root certificate, see [Certificate compatibility and root certificate installation](/docs/en/certificatemanager-troubleshoot-compatibility). ## JAVA compatibility Check the JAVA OpenJDK providers and versions that support certificates issued by NAVER Cloud Trust Services. ### OpenJDK compatibility by provider The following table lists widely used providers and JAVA versions with long-term support (LTS). | Provider | JAVA 8(1.8) | JAVA 11 | JAVA 17 | JAVA 21 | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Eclipse Temurin | 1.8.0_302 or later | 11.0.12+7 or later | 17.0.0.0_35 or later | 21.0.0+35 or later | | Amazon | 1.8.0_312 or later | 11.0.13.8.1 or later | 17.0.2.8.1 or later | 21.0.0+35 or later | | Azul Zulu | 1.8.0_312 or later | 11.0.12+7 or later | 17.0.0.0_35 or later | 21.0.0+35 or later | - To check the OpenJDK version you are using, or to check if the NAVER Cloud Trust Services root certificate is compatible, see [Check JAVA compatibility in advance](/docs/en/certificatemanager-troubleshoot-compatibility#JAVA%ED%98%B8%ED%99%98%EC%84%B1%EC%82%AC%EC%A0%84%ED%99%95%EC%9D%B8). - For compatibility information about other providers or JAVA versions, please contact [Customer Support](https://www.ncloud.com/support/question/service), or check it yourself by following [Check JAVA compatibility in advance](/docs/en/certificatemanager-troubleshoot-compatibility#JAVA%ED%98%B8%ED%99%98%EC%84%B1%EC%82%AC%EC%A0%84%ED%99%95%EC%9D%B8). ## Certificate features | Item | Details | | --- | --- | | Key algorithm | RSA 2048 bit | | Validity period | - Cloud Basic: 198 days - Advanced: 198 days (subscription period: 1-3 years) | | Available domain names | - FQDN (e.g., www.example.com) - Apex domain (e.g., example.com) - Wildcard domain (e.g., *.example.com) | | Number of domains per certificate | - Cloud Basic: Up to 10 - Advanced: Up to 300 | | Number of certificates that can be issued | - Cloud Basic: Up to 25 - Advanced: Unlimited | | Domain validation methods | DNS validation | | Compatible services | Load Balancer, Global Edge | Note In accordance with CA/B Forum Ballot SC-081v3, the maximum validity period of certificates issued by Certificate Manager is reduced to 199 days starting from February 12, 2026.
