Available in Classic and VPC
You can renew the information in a registered external certificate with a new certificate. Since you can update a certificate while retaining its original number and name, if you use it by integrating with the Load Balancer service, the certificate is automatically replaced simply by performing the renewal process within the Certificate Manager service.
When you renew your registration, the certificate information will be updated with the new values. Connected resources will automatically use the new certificate, and automatic rollback to the previous certificate is not supported.
Certificates integrated with the Global Edge service cannot be renewed.
