You might run into the following problems when using Cloud Log Analytics: Find out causes and possible solutions.
"no permission of object storage" error
A "no permission of object storage" error occurs during automatic export.
Cause
This issue can occur if the Object Storage bucket configured as the automatic export target has been deleted, if there is an issue with the bucket access control settings, or if an API authentication key is not available.
Solution
Check the following items in order:
- Check for bucket deletion
- Make sure the Object Storage Bucket set as the target for automatic export has not been deleted.
- Check bucket access permissions
- If the access controls have been configured for the Object Storage Bucket, or if permissions have been removed, automatic export may fail. Check if the bucket has read/write permissions.
- Check API authentication keys
- You cannot access Object Storage without an API authentication key. In the console, navigate to My Account > Account & Security Management > Security Management > Access Management and check whether an API authentication key is registered.
"no access key" error
During automatic export, a "no access key" issue occurs.
Cause
Automatic export uses the API authentication key of the account used to configure it. This issue can occur if the account does not have an API authentication key or has been deleted or disabled.
Solution
Check the following items in order:
- Check API authentication keys
- Check if a valid API authentication key is registered in the account for which automatic export is configured. You can view the API authentication key in the console by navigating to My Account > Account & Security Management > Security Management > Access Management.
- Check account status
- Check the status of the account used to configure automatic export. For a sub account, check whether the account is disabled.
- Reconfigure automatic export
- Disable automatic export in the main account or sub account, then reconfigure using an account with an API authentication key.
