The Alarm feature sends a notification once the Log that meets the set query condition exceeds the designated threshold. You can also view the Event logs through a set Alarm.
Alarm
The basic description for the Alarm menu to use Cloud Log Analytics is as follows:

① Menu name | Name of the menu currently being viewed, and the number of notifications created |
② Basic features | Set the conditions and recipients of the notification through Register alarm, create notifications, and refresh the page. |
③ Tab menu | Select between Alarm list and Alarm logs. |
④ Post-creation features | Select a notification from the list at the bottom through the checkbox next to the notification name, and [Edit] or [Delete] the notification. |
⑤ Search bar | Enter the alarm name, and then click ![]() |
⑥ List | View the registered alarm list and information.

Register Alarm
Use the [Register Alarm] button to move to the notification creation page. You can create a notification by setting the Alarm name, query, conditions (Interval and Threshold), recipients, and receiving methods.
To create an alarm, follow these steps:
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics in order.
- Click the Alarm menu.
- Click the [Register Alarm] button.
- Enter the notification information on the page you moved to and enter the [Create] button.
- Basic Alarm information: set the name and description of the notification.
- Query settings: set the condition of the notification by entering the Lucene Query.
- The default search of Alarm Query is a keyword search for the message field.
- The fields available when using Lucene Query are as follows:
- agent.hostname
- message
- type
- You can test using the [Run Query] button.
- Alarm settings: set the specific conditions to send an Event by entering Interval and Threshold.
- Only numbers are allowed for the Interval (unit: minute) and Threshold.
- Interval: 60, Threshold: 1. If you set them like this, a notification is sent when more than 1 case occurs within 60 minutes.
- Alarm receipt settings: set the notification recipients and receiving methods (SMS or email).
- You can select the notification status and methods for each recipient.
- Click the [Manage recipients] button to manage the recipients on the Notification Recipient screen.

Alarm list

From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics in order.

Click the Alarm menu.

Click the [Alarm list] tab to view the log.
- [Edit] button: select the check box of the notification you want to edit and click the [Edit] button to go to the editing screen.
- [Delete] button: delete the selected notifications.
- View details: click the name of the notification to view the details.
- You can view all items set when registering a notification, but cannot edit them. You can edit by selecting the notification with the checkbox and clicking the edit button.
Alarm logs
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics in order.
- Click the Alarm menu.
- Click the [Alarm logs] button.
- You can view the logs of occurred Alarms and the logs in detail for each event.
- When the daily collection capacity of the current pricing plan reaches its limit, the alarm does not work.
- For alarms that have had an event occur, the event does not occur for 5 minutes.
