    The Alarm feature sends a notification once the Log that satisfies the query condition exceeds the designated threshold. You can also view the Event logs through a set Alarm.

    Alarm

    The basic description for the Alarm menu to use Cloud Log Analytics is as follows:

    Alarm

      Displayed field: notification name, interval, threshold, condition, created date and time
    • Name: click the notification name, and you will be moved to the View detailed information
    • Interval: time interval for measuring log conditions (unit: minute)
    • Threshold: if the relevant threshold is exceeded during a set interval, a notification will be sent
    • Condition: set Lucene Query
    • Created date and time: created date and time of the alarm

    Register Alarm

    Use the [Register Alarm] button to move to the notification creation page. You can create a notification by setting the name, query, conditions (Interval and Threshold), recipients, and receiving methods.

    To create a notification, follow these steps:

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics, in order.
    2. Click the Alarm menu.
    3. Click the [Register Alarm] button.
    4. Enter the notification information on the page you moved to and press [Create].
      • Basic Alarm information: set the name and description of notification
      • Query setting: set the condition of the notification by entering the Lucene Query phrase
        • You can test using the [Run Query] button.
      • Alarm setting: set the specific conditions to send an Event by entering Interval and Threshold
        • You can only enter numbers for the Interval (unit: minute) and Threshold.
        • Interval: 60, Threshold: 1. If you set like this, a notification is sent when more than 1 case occurs within 60 minutes.
      • Alarm receipt setting: set the notification recipients and receiving methods (SMS or email)
        • You can select the notification status and methods for each recipient.
        • Click the [Manage recipients] button to manage the recipients on the Notification Recipient screen.

    Alarm list

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics, in order.

    2. Click the Alarm menu.

    3. Click the [Alarm list] tab to view the log.

      • [Edit] button: select the check box of the notification you wish to edit and click [Edit] button to move to the editing screen
      • [Delete] button: delete the selected notifications
      • Check details: click the name of the notification to view the details
        • You can check all items set when registering a notification, but cannot edit them. You can edit by selecting the notification with the checkbox and clicking the edit button.

    Alarm log

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Log Analytics, in order.
    2. Click the Alarm menu.
    3. Click the [Alarm log] button.
    4. You can view the logs of occurred Alarms and the logs in details for each event.
    Note
    • When the daily collection capacity of the current pricing plan reached its limit, the alarm does not work.
    • For alarms that have had an event occur, the event does not occur for 5 minutes.
