Available in VPC
You can check the resource created on the NAVER Cloud Platform and view the check results and recommended measures in the Dashboard menu. You can also set certain resource to be excluded from the check and download the check result reports.
Dashboard screen
The basic description for the Dashboard menu to use Cloud Advisor is as follows:

⑤ Download | Download the overall check result for items in an excel file. |
⑥ Check request | Run checking for all items (refer to Check all items). |

Check all items
Here is how to run the check for all items:
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Click the Recommended measure and the**[Check request]** button on the right.
{height="" width="70%"}- While the check is running, the [Check request] button is deactivated, and you cannot use the feature until the check is complete.
- If you place the mouse cursor over the deactivated [Check request] button of each item, you can see the remaining time before the next check.
- Refer to the View summary of check results for all items, View summary of check results for each item, and View details of check results for each item.
Check per item
The following shows how to check per item:
As for the checklist, refer to Checklist.
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Click the [Check request] button of the items to check.
{height="" width="60%"}- While the check is running, the [Check request] button is deactivated, and you cannot use the feature for a certain amount of time.
- If you place the mouse cursor over the deactivated [Check request] button, you can see the remaining time before the next check.
- As for the check results, refer to View summary of check results for each item, and View details of check results for each item.
Checklist
Here are the categories of the checklist that Cloud Advisor provides:
- Security: check for security vulnerability
- Cost & High availability: check if there is any unnecessary cost or degradation of performance
We plan to extend the Check result reports and Recommended measure services to performance, service limitation categories, etc. from exiting Security and , Cost & High availability.
Security
Security provides the following checklists:

Cost and high availability
Cost & high availability provides the following checklists:

View summary of check results for all items
The following describes how to view the check result for items by category:
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Check the overall check result for the resource at Result summary.
- (Normal): the state where recommended settings are complied with
- (Warning): the state where measures need to be taken
- (Critical): the state where immediate measures need to be taken
View summary of check results for each item
The following describes how to see the check result summary by item.
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Please see check result summary by item in the Recommended measures.

- Check result status: shows the check result with an alarm icon
- (Normal): the state where recommended settings are complied with
- (Warning): the state where measures need to be taken
- (Critical): the state where immediate measures need to be taken
- Check request: shows the time of checking based on the present time
- Check result summary: describes the check result summary of the item
- [Download] button: download the check result of the item as an Excel file
- [Check request] button: run the check for the item (see Check per item)
- [Open details]/[Close details] button: Open and close the details of the item(see View details of check results for each item)
View details of check results for each item
The following describes how to check the details of the check result per resource.
Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
Click the Dashboard menu.
See details by clicking the [Open details] button of the resource in the Recommended measures list.
- Description: description and recommended setting for the checked item
- Recommended measures: how to apply the recommended setting
- Alarm standard: the standard of presenting the check result status
- Checking time: the latest checking time
- Check result summary: the summary of the check results
- Related information: information such as the guide or console menus related to the checked item
- Check result details: it is the information of the checked resource and only shows up in some checked items
- Display options: select the resource to present on the list
- Included item: shows the resources included in the check results(default)
- Excluded item: shows the resources excluded in the check results

Set check exclusion
After running the check, the whole list of resources included in the checked items are provided to some checked items. You can exclude certain resources from the check by selecting them.
The following describes how to exclude certain resources from the check.
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Click the [Open details] button of the check item.
- Select the Included item in the dropdown menu of the Display option in the Check result details field.
- Select the resources to be excluded from the check and click the [Exclude selected items] button.
- The resources will disappear from the list, and you can check them by clicking the Excluded item in the dropdown menu of the Display option.
Set check inclusion
The following details how to include the resources excluded from the check back into the check.
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Click the [Open details] button of the check item.
- Click the Excluded item in the dropdown menu of the Display options in the Check result details field.
- Select the resources to be included into the check, and click the [Included selected items] button.
- The resources will disappear from the list, and you can check them by clicking the Included item in the dropdown menu of the Display option.
Download check result reports
You can download the check result reports including the check results and the details of the checked items. The following describes how to download the check result reports.
On the check result reports, parts of some sensitive information, such as login ID and user name, will be obscured. Check the full information at the console. (See View details of check results for each item)
- Please click an environment you are using in the Region and Platform menus of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Advisor menus in order.
- Click the Dashboard menu.
- Click the [Download] button.
- Download the check result reports for all checked items: click the [Download] button
- Download the check result reports for desired checked items: click the [Download] button on each item
- Download the check result reports for all checked items: click the [Download] button
