Monitoring is included in NAVER Cloud Platform's Cloud DB for MySQL and is a free service. Monitoring provides the following dashboards: - DB Dashboard: Monitoring information related to MySQL Servers in operation - OS Dashboard: Monitoring information related to the operating system of MySQL Servers in operation - DB Logs: Records of occurrence time and content of all logs that occur from MySQL Servers in operation - Query Timeline: Query execution history of MySQL Servers in operation With these 4 dashboards, you can view average MySQL Server performance data from the past year, logs from the past 60 days, and query timeline metrics from the past 72 hours. Each dashboard consists of multiple graph charts. You can print specific charts or download them to your local PC in various extensions for effective use. Note You can set the user to be notified when monitoring results show that a certain metric has exceeded its threshold or met specific conditions by having them recognized as events. For details about configuring events and notifications, see [Event](/docs/en/database-database-5-5). Because you can intuitively view and manage MySQL performance data at no additional cost, we recommend using the dashboard metrics to operate servers reliably in environments without dedicated database administrators. ## Monitoring interface The basics of using Monitoring are as follows: ![database-database-5-3_main_vpc_ko.png](https://cdn.document360.io/6998976f-9d95-4df8-b847-d375892b92c2/Images/Documentation/database-database-5-3_main_vpc_en.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-27T16%3A09%3A23Z&se=2026-10-27T17%3A09%3A23Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=41nUG%2Bl3IzmMzpkX8DjQmJW7zPSQYgp5Ye1unxKX2W0%3D) | Component | Description | | --- | --- | | ① Menu name | Current menu name. | | ② Basic features | View Cloud DB for MySQL details and refresh the Monitoring page. | | ③ DB Service list | List running DB Services and MySQL Servers by service. | | ④ Dashboard | DB Dashboard, OS Dashboard, DB logs, and query timeline for the selected server from MySQL Server list. | ## View Monitoring dashboards Dashboards provided by Monitoring consist of multiple graph charts. You can display and intuitively check only the information you need from the dashboard of each server. The information shown in the dashboard is collected every minute to be displayed, but it shows only the average values. To use dashboards: 1. In the Classic environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to **Menu** > **All Services** > **Database** > **Cloud DB for MySQL**. 2. Click the **Monitoring** menu. 3. From the DB Service list, click the MySQL Server you want to monitor. 4. Click the button for the dashboard you want to check from the interface on the right. 5. Click and select all graph charts you want to display and check on the dashboard.
