Available in Classic and VPC
You can export the performance metrics collected by Cloud Insight from Metric Export.
To access Metric Export, access the NAVER Cloud Platform portal and navigate to [Console] > Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight > Configuration > Metric Export.
Create Metric Export
To create a Metric Export:
- In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Cloud Insight.
- Click [Create Metric Export].
- In Set export targets, select the Export target and set Export items.
- Select the target products and resources in Select export targets.

Product type: Here is the list of products currently available for export:

Target resources: You can select 1 or all resources of the selected product as the export target resource.
- All: All resources collected from the export target product.

Currently, you can only select resources collected in the Korea Region as the export target.
- Select the target metrics and conditions for export in Set export items.
- Metric: You can select "All" or "Some" metrics. For "Some" metrics, you can select up to 20.
- Collection cycle (Interval): You can select 1 from "1 minute," "5 minutes," "30 minutes," "2 hours," and "1 day."
- Aggregation method: You can select 1 among AVG, MAX, MIN, SUM, and COUNT.
- Click [Next] to go to the Set save location interface.
- Select the location where you want to save the data in Set save location.
- Product type: Select the product to save the data. Currently, only Object Storage is supported.
- Region: Select the Region of the target product to store the data.
- Bucket: Select the bucket of the target product to store the data.
- Storage cycle: Automatically determined according to the collection cycle of the metric. Here are the details:
- Collection cycle/Storage cycle: Collection cycle: 1 minute/5 minutes, 5 minutes/30 minutes, 30 minutes/2 hours, 2 hours/1 day, 1 day/1 week.
- Click Next to go to the final confirmation interface.
- Enter the Basic information in Final confirmation, and check the Export target and Save location.
- Name: Enter the Metric Export name.
- Description: Enter the Metric Export description.
- Check the export target and save location, and click [Create].
View Metric Export
To view the Metric Export:
- Check the list of currently created Metric Exports in Configuration > Metric Export.
- Select the Metric Export you want to view.
- You can view the Metric Export details.
- Recent save status is the success status of the most recent upload. If the upload has not started yet, it is displayed as Not started.
CautionIf the resources being collected through Metric Export settings are deleted, the recent save status is changed to Not started, and collection is stopped.
- In failed logs, logs that failed to be saved are displayed. If a save fails, it retries up to 3 times.
- Save failed: If a save fails on the first try.
- Retry failed: If a save fails after retrying.
- Retry succeeded: If a save succeeds after retrying.
- Save failed: If a save fails after 3 retries.
Edit Metric Export
To edit a Metric Export:
- Select the Metric Export you want to edit.
- Check the details of the selected Metric Export.
- Click [Edit].
- Make edits on the Edit Metric Export interface.
- Export target products cannot be changed when editing a Metric Export.
Delete Metric Export
To delete a Metric Export:
- Select the Metric Export you want to delete.
- Click [Delete].
- In the Edit Metric Export popup, click [OK].
