Usage limits
The following shows Cloud Insight's data retention period, dashboard view period, maximum number of widgets created per dashboard, and performance metrics per 1 API call:
Performance metric data retention period
The retention periods according to the aggregation interval of performance metrics are as follows. Performance metric data is permanently deleted once the retention period expires.
The recommended view period is suggested for optimal performance on the dashboard display, but only data within the retention period can be viewed.
The dashboard widgets display only the data retained during the view period.

Example of data viewing per performance metric data retention period
Data view period: From 45 days ago to 15 days ago (30 days)
- Min1: Unable to view data as the view period is set before 8 days ago (widget does not show data).
- Min5: Able to only view data within a 6-hour range from 15 days ago (widget view period: 15 days ago - from 6 hours to 15 days ago).
- Min30: Able to only view data within a 24-hour range from 15 days ago (view period: 15 days ago - from 24 hours to 15 days ago).
- Hour2: Able to only view data within a 1-week range from 15 days ago (view period: 15 days ago - from 1 week to 15 days ago).
- Day1: Able to view full data.
To view data for more than 1 week in the widget, set the interval to Day1.
Event data retention period
Event data is retained for up to 2 years from the initial occurrence and is permanently deleted afterward.
Number of widgets per dashboard
Up to 30 widgets can be added to 1 dashboard.
Number of performance metrics per API call
Each Cloud Insight API call can return up to 20 performance metrics.
Data collection cycle and aggregation interval
The data collection cycle and aggregation interval are as follows:

Recommended view period by aggregation interval
The recommended view period varies depending on the aggregation interval. The recommended view periods by aggregation interval are as follows:

Aggregation interval based on dashboard view period
The minimum aggregation interval available for selection is determined by the dashboard view period. If the selected aggregation interval is smaller than the minimum aggregation interval set for the view period, the dashboard automatically converts and displays it using the minimum aggregation interval. Cloud Insight is a service provided free of charge. If the service changes to a paid service, you will receive a 1-month prior notice by email and SMS.
