This document details problems users may have while using Cloud Insight Agent, as well their solutions. Clicking each problem will redirect the user to the dial page.
General problem
The general problems you may have are as follows.
No server response
The server is hanging, metric collection is not running, and neither is the notification running.
Data is not collected
The Agent is properly running, but no data is collected in Cloud Insight.
Service data is not available
NAVER Cloud Platform’s service data is not available on the dashboard.
When ASG policy is registered as an action, servers are continuously created/deleted
When ASG policy is registered as an action, servers are continuously created/deleted.
The created Custom Schema is not displayed
Custom schema was created but is not found on the console.
The data sent to API is not found
The data was sent to API but it is not found in the console.
The data sent to API differs from results displayed on dashboard
The data sent to API differs from results displayed on dashboard.
Agent is not installed
Agent was not normally installed.
Metric problems
The metric problems you may have are as follows.
Metrics are not collected
The metrics suddenly stops being collected.
Server's proc_mem_usert and Memory’s mem_user are different
The proc_mem_usert of the Server is higher than the mem_usert of the Memory.
CPU used_rto and Server’s avg_cpu_used_rto are different
CPU's used_rto is higher or lower than the server's avg_cpu_used_rto.
The metric not collected when widget is created
The metric not collected during widget creation is included in the metrics list.
Event problems
The events problems you may have are as follows.
Event occurs while monitoring with is_process_up of the Server (VPC), even when there is no issue
Event occurs while monitoring with is_process_up of the Server (VPC), even when there is no issue.
The dimensions of the File/Process/Port Plugin deleted when creating Event Rule continue to be exposed.
