Using Notification Recipient

Available in Classic and VPC
Notification Recipient is a NAVER Cloud Platform service that allows you to add and manage the recipients and recipient groups for alarms when there are any events, such as monitoring. You can add recipients and manage contact numbers and email addresses for them to receive notifications, and the notification recipients can be managed in groups. You can specify the notification recipients by recipient group when setting event rules for notification delivery to the recipients in that group when an event occurs.
To access the Notification Recipient menu, connect to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, and then click [Console]> Services> Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
Notification Recipient page
The Notification recipient page is laid out as follows.

Create recipient groups
The recipients to receive notifications when an event occurs can be specified by notification group. To receive notifications when an event occurs, you must create a recipient group and add recipients to the recipient group. For how to add a recipient to a recipient group, refer to Assign recipient.
The following shows how to create a recipient group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Click in the recipient group list.
- Enter a name for the recipient group in the input window displayed.
- Click .
Edit recipient group
The following shows how to modify a recipient group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Place the cursor on of the recipient group to edit, and click Edit.
- Edit the recipient group name in the input window displayed, and click .
Delete recipient group
The following describes how to delete a recipient group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Place the cursor on of the recipient group to delete, and click Delete.
- Click the [Delete] button in the recipient group deletion pop-up window.
Add recipient
The following describes how to add a recipient.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Click the Add recipient button.
- Enter the recipient information in the recipient addition pop-up window.
- Entering the mobile phone number is optional. An authentication process is required to register a mobile phone number for the protection of personal information.
- You can select a recipient group to add new notification recipients to the existing recipient group.
- Click the [Register] button.

You can also add recipients at My Page > Manage Notifications on NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

Assign recipient
The following shows how to assign a recipient to a recipient group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Select the recipient to assign to a recipient group from the list of all recipients, and click [Assign].
- If the selected recipient is already assigned to a recipient group, the [Assign] button is displayed as deactivated. To change the recipient group, refer to Move/Copy recipient.
- Select a recipient group to assign the recipient from the assignment pop-up window.
- Click [Assign].
- Click [OK] in the monitoring pop-up window.
Edit recipient information

If the recipient is added from the My Page > Manage Notifications menu in NAVER Cloud Platform portal, edit the recipient's information in the Manage notification menu.

The following describes how to edit recipient information.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Select the recipient to edit and click [Edit].
- Apply the changes in the recipient information modification pop-up window.
- Click the [Edit] button.
Move/Copy recipient
You can move a recipient assigned to a recipient group to another recipient group, or copy the recipient to assign this person to another recipient group as well. The following describes how to move/copy a recipient.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Select the recipient to move or copy and click [Move/Copy].
- Select a recipient group to move or copy the recipient to from the Copy/Move recipient pop-up window.
- If you want to move a recipient group, click [Move].
- If you also want to assign to the selected recipient group, click [Copy].
- Click [OK] in the monitoring pop-up window.
Delete recipient
The following shows how to delete a recipient.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Select the recipient to delete from the list of all recipients, click [Delete].
- Check the details in the notification recipient deletion pop-up window, and click [Delete].

Notification recipients added from the My Page > Manage Notifications menu in NAVER Cloud Platform portal are also displayed on the Notification Recipient menu. However, notification recipients added from the My Page > Manage Notifications menu in NAVER Cloud Platform portal cannot be deleted from the Notification Recipient menu. They can only be deleted from My Page > Manage Notifications.
(However, you cannot delete the default manager set from the My Page > Manage Notification menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.)
When you delete a notification recipient added from the My Page > Manage Notification menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal, the recipient is also deleted from the Notification Recipient menu, and the monitoring settings set for the deleted recipient are deleted as well.

Delete recipient from recipient group
The following shows how to delete a recipient from a recipient group.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click Services > Management & Governance > Notification Recipient in order.
- Click the recipient group where the recipient you want to delete belongs from the recipient group list.
- Select the recipient to delete and click [Delete].
- Check the details in the notification recipient deletion pop-up window, and click [Delete].
