    There are a few terms you need to know to use Cloud IoT Core. The terms and their descriptions are as follows.

    IoT

    NAVER Cloud Platform's Service category that connects millions of distributed devices and clouds

    Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT)

    A lightweight message transmission protocol based on push technology developed in optimization of communications environment with limited bandwidth such as M2M (Machine to Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things)(Source: Telecommunications Technology Association)

    QoS

    The transmission system's measure of execution performance that shows the quality of transmissions and service availability

    TLS

    Name of a standardized encryption protocol for protecting data sent and received in Internet communication

    Universally Unique Identifier (UUID)

    A standard enacted by the Open Software Foundation (OSF), composed of 32 characters and 4 hyphens

    Action

    Motion to be executed when a message meets a rule query

    Argument

    Value transmitted to a function when a function is called
