Available in Classic and VPC
Cloud IoT Core is a service for easily and safely connecting an IoT device to the cloud and transferring and processing messages in real time. Cloud IoT Core provides encrypted communications and real-time message processing. This helps users implement the services they want while paying only for what they use, without worrying about server maintenance and operational costs. You can also connect it with other NAVER Cloud Platform services to perform various operations.
A variety of features Cloud IoT Core offers
The following describes various features provided by Cloud IoT Core.
- MQTT protocol: You can transfer data safely based on the MQTT protocol which is specialized in IoT environment building.
- Security log-ins and communication: User authentication using X.509-based certification and TLS communication are offered. The two-way authentication process allows users to check if the server attempting to access is a normal Cloud IoT Core server and the server to check if the user attempting to access is a successfully authenticated user.
- Real-time data processing: Cloud IoT Core analyzes and processes the MQTT messages sent in real time.
- Connection with NAVER Cloud Platform service: By connecting with NAVER Cloud Platform's Cloud Functions, the data sent to Cloud IoT Core can be forwarded to other services.
