# Editing and deleting domains

Available in Classic and VPC

You can edit the name or description of the domain you created or delete the domain.

## Edit domain

The following describes how to edit the name and description of the domain.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click **Menu** > **All Services** > **Big Data & Analytics** > **Cloud Search** in order.
2. Click the **Domain** menu.
3. Select the domain you want to edit from the domain list and click the **[Edit domain]** button.
4. When the pop-up window for **editing the information of the domain** appears, edit the domain name and description and then click the **[Settings]** button.

## Delete domain

The following shows how to delete a domain.

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the **Menu** > **All Services** > **Big Data & Analytics** > **Cloud Search** in order.
2. Click the **Domain** menu.
3. Select the domain you want to delete from the domain list and click the **[Delete domain]** button.
4. When the pop-up window for **deleting the domain** appears, read the guidelines and click the **[OK]** button.
  - The **service status** of the domain is displayed as **being deleted**, and when the deletion is complete, it disappears from the domain list.
