Usage monitoring by domain
The following describes how to monitor the usage by domain.
- Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Click the Services > Big Data & Analytics > Cloud Search menu, in that order.
- Click the Monitoring menu.
- From the Domain drop-down menu, select the domain to view usage.
- You can select multiple domains.
- Select the query interval and query period of usage.
- You can only search data for the last 3 months.
- If you set the query interval to 1 minute or 5 minutes, you can only view data for up to 1 week.
- Check the usage in the displayed graph and list.
- Number of indexer requests: the number of indexing requests by uploading documents
- Search response size: the size of the network response to the search API
- NAS usage: usage of NAS where documents are stored
- When uploading a document, NAS usage may increase temporarily during the process of applying the uploaded document and deleting the existing document.
- Memory usage: memory usage of container
- It may continue to grow depending on indexing and search volume.
- Memory usage is automatically adjusted by Cloud Search and is independent of memory size per container type.
- Reindex document size: date and time of changing index and section and the size of the document existing at that time
- Autocomplete updates: date of autocomplete update and number of documents updated
- Total volume size: size of actual data used for indexing
- Keep the total volume size below 50% of the memory size for each container type.
- If the total volume size is more than 90% of the memory size for each container type, document upload and indexing may not work.
- There may be a delay of 5 to 10 minutes before the data is reflected in the monitoring.
- Hover your mouse over the graph to check the detailed figures.
