# Domain

Available in Classic and VPC

CLOVA Speech allows you to create domains and manage recognition tasks per domain. For each domain, you can set the storage paths for input files and result files, and use the Builder provided for each domain to request recognition tasks. In the **Domain** menu, you can create and manage domains, and run the domain's builder.

## Domain interface

| Component | Description |
| --- | --- |
| ① Menu name | Current menu name. |
| ② Basic features | Create a domain, view CLOVA Speech details, refresh the Domain interface. |
| ③ Features after creation | Edit and delete created domains. |
| ④ Search area | Search domains by name or code, initialize search results. |
| ⑤ Domain list | List of domains currently being viewed. |

## Check domain list

To view information about your created domains:

1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to **Menu** > **All Services** > **AI Services** > **CLOVA Speech**.
2. Click **Domain**.
3. When the domain list appears, review the summary information for each domain.
  - **Domain name**: The name of the domain entered when creating a domain
  - **Domain code**: The code of the domain entered when creating a domain
  - **Type**: The pricing plan of the domain
  - **Created (UTC+09:00)**: Domain creation date and time
  - **Run**: Click **[Run Builder]** to run the builder for the domain (For more information on builders, see [Builder for Long-sentence Recognition](/docs/en/clovaspeech-builder-long) or [Builder for Short-sentence Recognition](/docs/en/clovaspeech-builder-short).)

## Create domain

To create a domain:

To create a domain, you must first create a bucket in Object Storage. For details, see [Object Storage user guide](/docs/en/storage-storage-6-1).

1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to **Menu** > **All Services** > **AI Services** > **CLOVA Speech**.
2. Click **Domain**.
3. Click **[Create domain]**.
4. Enter domain information.
  - **Domain name**: Enter the name of the domain to be created
  - **Domain code**: Enter the code of the domain to be created
    - The domain code cannot be modified later, so enter carefully.
  - **Service plan**: Select a pricing plan for the domain
    - **Free**: The free plan is applied, and you can use a certain amount of recognition time for free every month. However, only 1 Free domain can be created per account and cannot be deleted.
    - **Basic**: The basic plan is applied.
  - **Additional features**: Select additional features for the domain
    - **(Short-form recognition) Pronunciation evaluation**: Checks word- and sentence-level pronunciation accuracy. Available when the recognition language is Korean or English.
    - **(Long-sentence recognition) Speaker recognition**: Enable recognition and distinction of speaker.
    - **(Long-sentence recognition) Event detection**: Enable detection of events, such as music and applause, in the sound source.
    - **(Streaming recognition) Papago Translation**: Translates voice recognition results into a desired language. To use this feature, you must first [subscribe to Papago Translation](https://guide.ncloud-docs.com/docs/en/papagotranslation-overview) and register an Application.
  - The domain type cannot be edited later, so select carefully.

5. Enter the Object Storage paths where input and result files will be stored.
  - **Result file storage path**: After clicking the input field, select the Object Storage path for saving the recognition result file in the popup window
  - **Recognition target storage path**: After clicking the input field, select the Object Storage path to save the file to be recognized in the popup window
  - **[Go to Object Storage]**: Click it to display the Object Storage console interface
6. Click **[Save]**.

## Edit domain

To edit a domain:

1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to **Menu** > **All Services** > **AI Services** > **CLOVA Speech**.
2. Click **Domain**.
3. In the domain list, select the domain you want to edit and click **[Edit]**.
4. Modify the domain information, then click **[Edit]**.

## Delete domains

To delete created domains:

Deleted domain information cannot be recovered.

              Note

              

- Domains connected to a batch cannot be deleted. Delete the associated batch first. (See [Delete a batch](/docs/en/clovaspeech-batch#%EB%B0%B0%EC%B9%98%EC%82%AD%EC%A0%9C).)
- Free domains cannot be deleted.

1. In the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to **Menu** > **All Services** > **AI Services** > **CLOVA Speech**.
2. Click **Domain**.
3. Select the domain to delete from the domain list, and then click **[Delete]**.
4. When the domain deletion popup appears, check the Caution and click the **[Delete domain]** button.
