Apply for service app

The output that can be derived through CLOVA Studio fluctuates greatly depending on the user's input and it is difficult to make a perfect prediction. As a minimum device to prevent this, it goes through a screening process through an application before providing it to the service. If you request a service app, you can use it right after review and approval.

The service app application and issuance process is as follows:

  1. Before requesting a service app evaluation, confirm that your app does not violate the AI ethics guidelines and that it can provide a stable service by creating a test app.
  2. Click the Apply for service app menu on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click the [Apply] button in the upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Select the model you want to apply for and the task associated with the model.
  5. After filling out the service app application information, click the [Next] button.
    • To help the reviewer process your application smoothly, provide as much relevant detail as possible.
  6. When the guide familiarization pop-up window appears, check the description of each item and select Yes or No.
    • If you do not agree or do not fill out all the information, you will not be able to create a service app.
  7. Click the [Complete] button.
    • Once approved, you can click the View code button in the Apply for service app menu to check the service app API information.
    • Changes cannot be made to application information after the service app has been approved.
Note

See the following for a service app review:

  • The service app request is approved or rejected by checking its compliance with CLOVA Studio AI code of ethics, whether it is a safe case, and if there are methods of response to risks or potential misuse.
  • The service app must not provide information that may pose direct or indirect risks to final users or is difficult to secure accuracy and fairness.
  • The service app must have methods to monitor to avoid inappropriate results caused by abuse, and so on and respond to them.
  • The inappropriate result is a typical example of the result of curses and other expressions with profanity being output, and also includes the results of the content that violates NAVER AI code of ethics and CLOVA Studio AI code of ethics.
  • Changes cannot be made when the service app is under review or after it has been approved.
