Data training

Available in Classic and VPC

Data training means training specialized service knowledge on the model. To train a skill set and manage the training progress so that your model can generate more accurate and sophisticated answers, follow these steps:

The data training screen is configured as follows:

Data training

Train the model with the collected data to create more accurate responses. To train a skill set, there should be at least one "completed" skill and collected data. If there is no skill set you can select, check the task status of your skill.

To train the model with a skill set, follow these steps:

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click > Services > AI Services > CLOVA Studio in order.
2. From the my product menu, click the [Go to CLOVA Studio] button.
3. In CLOVA Studio, click the Skill trainer menu.
4. Click the skill set to train the model with.
5. Click the Data training tab.
6. Click the [Start training] button.
7. After a New training screen appears, confirm the skill set to train the model with and enter the language model name and relevant details in the Memo.
8. Check the number of tokens to use for training, and then click the [Train] button.
   • The training in progress and training completed notifications are sent to the user's email.
9. Check the task status from the training list.
   • Training completed: training is successfully completed
   • Training in progress: training is in progress
   • Training pending: getting ready for training
   • Training failed: training was not successfully performed
   • Training suspended: user suspended training

Suspend training

If the training status of the data is training pending or training in progress, you can suspend the training.
To suspend data training, follow these steps:

1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click > Services > AI Services > CLOVA Studio in order.
2. From the my product menu, click the [Go to CLOVA Studio] button.
3. In CLOVA Studio, click the Skill trainer menu.
4. Click a skill set.
5. Click the Data training tab.
6. Click the training status label of the training you want to suspend.
   • A suspend training popup window appears, and you can see the number of tokens that have been used until now.
   • You can only suspend the training if it is in progress or pending.
7. When the Suspend training popup window appears, click the [Suspend] button.
