CLOVA Voice supports the following cloud environment specifications:

Note

The languages in the cloud environment specifications refer to languages supported in the NAVER Cloud Platform console. For the types of languages supported by CLOVA Voice, see Cautions for use.

Precautions when using the service

Cautions for using CLOVA Voice are as follows:

  • Supported languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Taiwanese
  • Supported format
    • Input text format: UTF-8 encoding
    • Output file format: mp3 (default) and wav
  • The maximum number of characters you can use when calling the CLOVA Voice API once: 2000 characters

Service limits

Service limits for CLOVA Voice are as follows:

  • Does not read symbols or text in parentheses
  • Sampling rate setting is supported only for wav format

Pricing information

CLOVA Voice uses a pay-as-you-go pricing plan. For details of CLOVA Voice's usage fee, see the pricing information at Portal > Services > AI·NAVER API > CLOVA Voice.

Caution

CLOVA Voice incurs a basic fee for the service plan even if there are no calls after the service is created.
