Available in Classic and VPC
You might run into the following problems when using CLOVA Voice. Find out causes and possible solutions.
Downloading and reusing voice files
Unable to use CLOVA Voice on internal or closed networks.
I want to download voice files and play them on my own server.
Cause
CLOVA Voice is provided as an API and can only be used in environments where the API can be called in real-time. Reusing data obtained after an API request is not allowed.
Solution
As CLOVA Voice requires real-time API calls, you cannot insert voice files into software or hardware, or use it on internal or closed networks. For use in private environments, set up a separate host that can communicate externally. Alternatively, use CLOVA Dubbing service which allows you to download voice files.
Delay function for specific sections
Unable to set pause time between sentences.
I want to temporarily pause a specific section.
Cause and Solution
No function is provided to delay specific sections. Adjustments can be made using commas and periods, but only within 0.5 to 1 second.
API call errors
API call results in an error.
Cause
- Incorrectly entered API URL during the call.
- Exceeded the allowed character count.
- Unsupported function.
Solution
- Check the API URL used for the call. The API URL for the private platform is
https://naveropenapi.apigw.ntruss.com/tts-premium/v1/tts. - Up to 2000 characters can be requested per API call. Adjust your request to within 2000 characters.
- For a detailed description of errors that may occur during API calls, see CLOVA Voice API guide.
