The Data Box Frame is a service that uses customer data to provide analysis with Cloud Data Box infrastructure to analysts who want to analyze customer data. Just as Cloud Data Box provides services for NAVER search and shopping data, it can use customer data to provide services to analysts in the same form as Cloud Data Box.
Customers can create and manage analysis infrastructure such as Cloud Data Box. You can set up a direct connection to or blocking of external networks, and provide procedures to review and approve your data import processing and analysis results analyzed by analysts and export requests, thereby preventing data leakage.
Various features provided by the Data Box Frame
- Provide services using customer data: You can provide analysis services by providing customer data.
- Provide analysis environment for utilization of data: For efficient data analysis, you can set up various analysis infrastructures such as the Ncloud Tensorflow server and Hadoop cluster and easily and conveniently analyze data by utilizing various analysis tools including Jupyter notebook and Zeppeline, which are provided by default.
- Safe data storage: Data Box Frame thoroughly maintains its security in a cloud-based computing environment, and by limiting the arbitrary export of data by customers, it safely protects customer data and analysis results.
- Analysis linked with analyst data: You can import analyst data and software into the Data Box Frame through the import feature, and perform various analyses in connection with customer data. Once the customer has decided whether to export through the export request and export approval process, the analysis result can be exported for continuous follow-up analysis.
- Customer-selectable analysis infrastructure and analysis data sources: You can freely configure the infrastructure according to the customer's analysis purpose and scale, and provide analysis services by providing a Data Box.

Q. How are the Boxes in the Data Box Frame configured and accessible?
A. The Data Box Frame is configured in the VPC environment of NAVER Cloud Platform, and you can manage the Box information by delivering it to the analysts. The analyst can access the box remotely using the information received from the customer.
Q. Can I use other analysis frameworks and analysis software other than tensorflow or hadoop provided by NAVER Cloud Platform?
A. For the separate analysis framework and analysis software you need, you can import the installation file of the analysis framework or analysis software through the import feature provided by the Data Box Frame, import it into the Box, and use it after installing the installation program and package. However, Linux server provides root permission and there are no restrictions on installation, but Windows server currently provides general user permissions instead of admin permissions for security reasons, so there may be restrictions on installation.
