Here are some important terms for the use of Data Flow. The terms and their definitions are as follows:

    Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)

Three forms of functionality for moving data from system to system. Typically, operating systems use Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) functions to become tools that build and optimize data storage or data shop for Business Intelligence (BI) tasks. Enterprise data integration supports the process of extracting data from sources, processing it through ETL tools designed for acquiring, understanding, and mapping data as well as merging and supplying it to different databases or application systems, and then loading it into target systems (source: Telecommunications Technology Association)

    Data Catalog

A service of NAVER Cloud Platform that provides cloud based metadata integration and management functions to enhance the usability of data assets

    Data pipeline

A series of systems that support the smooth transfer of data flow from the creation to the use of data according to the data life cycle (source: Telecommunications Technology Association)

    Database schema

Defines the data structure, its representation, and the relationships between data in a database using a formal language. The database schema represents the logical structure of the entire or part of a database, showing how data is stored within the database. The database schema is stored in a data dictionary and is created through the modeling process that abstracts a snapshot of the real world (source: Telecommunications Technology Association{target="_blank"})

    Object Storage

A service of NAVER Cloud Platform that allows storage and retrieval of all types of data on the Internet
