This article will explain how to check the status of consumer groups in the Topic menu. You can monitor the rack size of consumer groups and the offsets currently being processed by time zone to infer various abnormal situations such as real-time data processing delays, bottlenecks by consumer group, and lack of system resources, and effectively utilize them for cause analysis and tracking.
Check consumer group status
To check consumer group status:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Big Data & Analytics > Data Stream.
- Click the Topic menu.
- In the topic list, click View service details.
- On the topic detailed interface, click the [Consumer group] tab menu.
- When the interface appears, set the target consumer group and search period in the search filter.
- Set search target Select the Consumer Group to view by clicking it in the consumer group drop-down list
- Set search period
- Last hour, last day, last 7 days, last 1 month
- Custom: Click
to configure
- Check the status by consumer group.
- Consumer group lag: Lag information by partition for the consumer group (unit: Num)
- The closer it is to 0, the more real-time processing there is without delay
- Consumer group current offset: Offset information by partition last processed by the consumer group (unit: Num)
- Consumer group lag: Lag information by partition for the consumer group (unit: Num)

to move forward or backward 1 hour from the currently selected period to quickly check the chart results for that period.
