Your first step is subscribing to Cloud DB Serverless service. This section explains how to create a DB Cluster in the NAVER Cloud Platform console to use the Cloud DB Serverless service. ## Start using the service The Cloud DB Serverless service does not require a separate application process, and once you create one or more DB Clusters, the service is considered immediately activated. To create DB Clusters in Cloud DB Serverless: 1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console. 2. In the top-right corner, click **Region & Platform**. 3. Select your region and the **VPC** platform, then click **[Apply]**. 4. In the top-left corner, click **Menu**. 5. Navigate to **All services** > **Database** > **Cloud DB Serverless**. 6. In the **DB Cluster** menu, click **[Create DB Cluster]**. 7. When the **Create** interface appears, navigate to the next steps: - Enter Cluster settings: Check the DBMS, configure DB instance specifications, set the Auto Scaling policy, and enter the DB Cluster name. - Enter DB settings: Enter the basic DB information, check the DB config settings, and configure the backup settings. - Connection settings: VPC and Subnet settings - Final confirmation: Final confirmation on entered information 8. Click **[Create]** to start using the service. ### Next steps You have completed all the initial steps required to use the Cloud DB Serverless service. Check the list of created clusters and proceed with the next steps: - [DB management](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-dbclusterdetail) - [DB Cluster information check](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-screen) - [Monitoring](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-monitoring) After starting the service, go to Cloud DB Serverless usage and then to DB Cluster to learn how to use the various features provided by the Cloud DB Serverless service. - Here are some suggested next steps: - To create DB Clusters in Cloud DB Serverless service, see [DB Cluster](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-dbcluster). - To change DB Cluster settings, see [DB Cluster details](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-dbinstancedetail). - To review your understanding of the service, see [Cloud DB Serverless glossary](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-glossary). - To understand the complete workflow, see [Cloud DB Serverless quickstart](/docs/en/db-clouddbserverless-procedure). Note The Cloud DB Serverless service is charged on a pay‑as‑you‑go basis, with fees applied according to the usage of DB instances, data storage, and backup storage. For detailed information about the service charges, see - [Navigate to **Services > Database > Cloud DB Serverless > Pricing** on the NAVER Cloud Platform portal](https://www.ncloud.com/product/database/cloudDbServerless#pricing) ## Unsubscribe from the service Like the service subscription, the Cloud DB Serverless service does not require a separate process for unsubscription. If you delete all the created DB Clusters, your Cluster DB Serverless subscription is now cancelled. Caution When you delete a DB Cluster, all data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
