Using Hue

Apache Hue provides a web-based user interface. Each user is provided with an isolated Hue environment.

Check Hue app details

Once the app is created, you can view its details. If the Status in the app details is Stable, the app is running normally.

To view app details:

  1. In the VPC environment on the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Big Data & Analytics > Data Forest.
  2. Click Data Forest > Apps on the left.
  3. Select the account that owns the app.
  4. Click the app to view its details.
  5. Review the app details.

    • Quick links
      • Hue: URL for accessing the Hue web UI.
    • Component: The HUE-4.7.0 type consists of a single hue component.
      • hue: Recommended resources by default
Caution
  • The Hue app requires Sticky Session. Therefore, multiple components (containers) displayed may cause abnormal behavior. The number of Hue component containers is fixed as 1 under the current specifications.
  • When uploading files to HDFS using the file browser in Hue, file uploads are supported for files smaller than 100 MB.
  • The feature of increasing or decreasing the number of containers is scheduled to be added.

Access Hue Web UI

To access the Hue Web UI:

  1. Enter your Data Forest account and password to log in.

  2. Click the Files menu on the left menu of the interface. You can view the file browser.
