Project creation

Project production screen

If you have created a project in My Project, you must go to the edit screen of the created project and produce the project. To produce a project, you need to first understand how to use the project edit screen and the role of each area. The following shows how to go to the project edit screen and understand the role of each area.

1. Connect to Naver Cloud Platform's Console.

2. Enter the ID and password on the login page and click the [Login] button.

3. Click CLOVA Dubbing > Project Group in order.

4. When the list of created project groups appears, click the [Project Management] button in the row of the project group to edit the project.

5. Click the My Project menu on the left menu.

6. Select the project to be edited and click web_icon_1_3_en.png or double-click with the mouse.

7. When the project screen appears, confirm the role of each area.

  • File upload area: The area where a video or PDF file is uploaded for project production. See the file upload area for details
  • Add dubbing area: The area to select a voice to be dubbed and enter text in the uploaded file. See the add dubbing area for details
  • Add sound effect area: The area to select the sound effect to add to the uploaded file. See the add sound effect area for details
  • TEST area: The area, which consists of the timeline and dubbing list tab menu, to place and test dubbing or sound effect in the uploaded file. See the TEST area for details
    • Timeline: A tab menu that places dubbing or sound effects by showing uploaded files by time
    • Dubbing list: A tab menu that shows the dubbing files used for the project in a list, and where you can edit, download, delete, or preview each dubbing.
  • [Save Project]: A button to save project
  • [Download]: A button that download the project to the local PC

Project production order

The following shows how to project a project.

1. Connect to Naver Cloud Platform's Console.

2. Enter the ID and password on the login page and click the [Login] button.

3. Click CLOVA Dubbing > Project Group in order.

4. When the list of created project groups appears, click the [Project Management] button in the row of the project group to edit the project.

5. Click the My Project menu on the left menu.

6. Select the project to be edited and click web_icon_1_3_en.pngor double-click with the mouse.

7. When the project screen appears, click the [Upload File] button to upload the file.

8. When [Select File] appears, select a file to upload.

  • Select from Object Storage: When uploading a file stored in Object Storage, select the file by clicking the [Specify Object Storage Path] button and click the [Start Request] button.
  • Upload file: When uploading a file saved in the local PC, click and drag the file with the mouse or click the [Upload Video] button to add it

9. When the file is added, set the dubbing to be added to the project in the Add Dubbing Area and click the [+Add Dubbing] button.

  • Favorite voice: Select the desired voice or click the [View All] button to add the voice you want if the desired voice is not in the list of favorites
  • Dubbing content input window: Enter the content to be dubbed with the selected voice in 1,000 characters or less
  • Upload file: The area where a video or PDF file is uploaded for project production
  • Add dubbing: The area where a dubbing is configured and selected to add to the uploaded file

10. In the Add Sound Effect Area, click the web_icon_1_21_en.png button to the right of the sound effect to be added to the project.

11. Drag and place the added dubbing and sound effects on the timeline at the desired location for each time zone of the file.

12. Repeat and edit the steps 9 to 11 as necessary and click the [▶] button in the middle of the screen to test the video.

13. When the project production is complete, click the [Save Project] button at the upper right corner.

Note

If modifications are made to the project, then it is periodically saved automatically. However, it is recommended to save by clicking the [Save Project] button to prevent losing data.

14. If you want to download the saved project to the local PC, click the [Download] button at the upper right corner.

15. When appears, check the number of downloads and the number of characters deducted during the download process, and select the desired download method to download.

Caution

Projects can't be edited simultaneously in more than one browser. An error may occur in the dubbing setting, and project download may not work normally during simultaneous editing. If an error occurs, then refresh your browser and correct or delete the error.

File upload area

The following explains how to use each detailed setting in the Upload File area.

  • Upload file: An area where you can upload files and check the uploaded files in play
    • Control button: A button that plays, stops, and fast forwards or rewinds the uploaded file Playback is possible at the time point where the indicator is located on the timeline
    • Background sound off/on (web_icon_1_9_en.png): Select whether to include the project for the background sound included in the original uploaded file
    • Dubbing subtitle off/on (web_icon_1_10_en.png): Select whether to include the project for the dubbing subtitle. When selected, the dubbing content is automatically generated as subtitles and included in the video
    • Replace video (web_icon_1_11_en.png): Delete the uploaded file and upload a new one. The dubbing and sound effects added when replacing the video are not deleted
    • Delete video (!web_icon_1_12_en.png): Delete the uploaded video (slide in case of PDF) or delete the video (slide in case of PDF) and added dubbing and sound effects all at once
Caution

Deleted videos can't be recovered.

Caution

It is not possible to arbitrarily use the results of other people's intellectual activities such as broadcasting, movies, and images without the consent of the right holder.

Note

Even if you don't have a video file, but have an image file or a presentation file, you can produce video content with the AI voice or sound effects added.

  • With only an image file: Produce one by converting an image file inserted into a presentation or document or converting the image file itself into a PDF file and uploading it
  • With only a presentation file: Produce one by converting the presentation file to a PDF file and uploading it

Add dubbing area

The following explains how to use each detailed setting in the Add Dubbing area.

  • Voice Favorites: You can check the gender and language of the voice when you hover the mouse over it.
  • Voice settingl: Click to set Voice Favorites, MY Voice and CLOVA Voice, and pre-listen
    • Favorites: You can select up to 10 voices to be used in the project from the list of MY Voices and CLOVA voices, and you can change the order by clicking Move Up (web_icon_1_22_en.pngor Move Down web_icon_1_13_en.png
    • MY voices: You can check the list of voices synthesized the name, speed, and volume of the voice in the style you want based on the CLOVA voices, pre-listen, delete, add to the favorites and create a new MY Voice
    • CLOVA voices: You can check the list of AI voices provided by the gender and language
    • Input content: After entering the content to be dubbed as MY Voice or CLOVA Voice, you can check it by clicking the [▶Pre-listen] button. Content including profanity and slang can't be created with synthetic sounds
  • Dubbing content input window: A window for entering the content to be dubbed with the selected voice with 200 characters or less
    • You can check by clicking the [▶Pre-listen] button
    • You can add to the project's timeline by clicking the [+Add Dubbing] button. When added, the video time when the added dubbing ends is displayed at the bottom left of the window
Caution
  • The synthesized sound (voice) of the content produced and created through CLOVA Dubbing must be used as it is in the form downloaded from CLOVA Dubbing. Modification and editing are prohibited in such a way that the synthesized sound of the content created through CLOVA Dubbing is distorted or deteriorated. (Examples of prohibited transformations and editing: Distorting the synthesized sound by editing in a way that deliberately slows or speeds up the content to distort, transforming or distorting the synthesized sound by removing part of the content, etc.)
  • The use of CLOVA Dubbing's pre-listen audio for any other purpose is prohibited.

Click web_icon_1_17_en.png to the right of the voice name to add it to Favorites.

Add sound effect area

The following explains how to use each detailed setting in the Add Sound Effect area.

  • Sound effect name: The name of the sound effect to identify its type
  • Effect sound playback time: Effect sound playback time (seconds)
  • web_icon_1_19_en.png: Pre-listen to the sound effect
  • web_icon_1_21_en.png: Add the sound effect to the project's timeline

TEST area

This guides you on how to use each detailed setting in the test area.

Test

The following explains how to use the area that plays the final content with dubbing and sound effects added in the uploaded file.

  • Control button: A button that plays, stops, and moves forward or backward the file Video playback is possible at the time point where the indicator is located on the timeline

Timeline

The following explains how to use the area where dubbing or sound effects are placed at the desired point in the upload file.

  • Timeline zoom in/out: Configure it by using the minus or plus key to widen or narrow the quarter time unit, or moving the indicator
  • Slide block: If a PDF file is uploaded, divide into slide for each PDF page and add it
    • Change slide order: Click the slide block and drag the mouse to the position to change
    • Change slide play time: When both arrows appear after hovering the mouse over the right side of the slide block, drag it as much time as you want
    • Delete slide: Right-click and click Delete Slide, press the [Delete] key, or click web_icon_1_18_en.png and then click Delete
  • Dubbing block: When hovering the mouse over the added dubbing, the voice type, playback start time and content can be verified
    • Move dubbing block: When dragging or clicking the dubbing block, input it in the hh:mm:ss format in the start window that appears at the bottom, or use the keyboard direction keys (>, <)
      • Dubbing block can be moved after multiple selection using the [Ctrl] key (Windows), or the [command] key (Mac)
      • Multiple selection can only be used when moving and deleting, and copying/cutting is not possible
    • Copy dubbing block: After clicking the dubbing (sound effect) block, clickweb_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click Copy or use the shortcut key (Ctrl+c)
    • Cut dubbing block: After clicking the dubbing (sound effect) block, clickweb_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click Cut or use the shortcut key (Ctrl+x)
    • Paste dubbing block: Move the indicator by clicking on the location where you want to paste the copied or cut dubbing (sound effect), and use the shortcut key (Ctrl+v)
    • Delete dubbing block: Click the dubbing (sound effect) block and press the [Delete] or [Backspace] key, or click the dubbing (sound effect) block, clickweb_icon_1_18_en.png and click Delete
      • Dubbing block can be deleted after multiple selection using the [Ctrl] key (Windows), or the [command] key (Mac)
      • Multiple selection can only be used when moving and deleting, and copying/cutting is not possible
    • Change dubbing voice: When you click the dubbing block, you can change the voice type and content at the bottom of the screen. You can preview by clicking web_icon_1_19_en.png, download it to the local PC by clickingweb_icon_1_20_en.png and delete it by clicking web_icon_1_12_en.png.
    • Download dubbing: After clicking the dubbing block, click web_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click the [Download] button.
  • Sound effect block: When hovering the mouse over the added sound effect, the name of sound effect and playback start time can be verified
    • Move sound effect block: Drag the sound effect block with the mouse or click the sound effect block and use the keyboard direction keys (>,<)
    • Copy sound effect block: After clicking the dubbing (sound effect) block, click web_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click Copy or use the shortcut key (Ctrl+c)
    • Cut sound effect block: After clicking the dubbing (sound effect) block, click web_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click Cut or use the shortcut key (Ctrl+x)
    • Paste sound effect block: Move the indicator by clicking on the location where you want to paste the copied or cut dubbing (sound effect), and use the shortcut key (Ctrl+v)
    • Delete sound effect block: Click the dubbing (sound effect) block and press the [Delete] or [Backspace] key, or click the dubbing (sound effect) block, click web_icon_1_18_en.png, and then click Delete
Note

The minimum running time per slide is 1 second.

Precautions on timeline placement

The following is the precaution for timeline placement.

  • It can't be arranged so that the playback points overlap between dubbings.
  • It can't be arranged so that the playback points overlap between sound effects.
  • It can't be arranged so that the playback points of dubbing and sound effect overlap.
  • Dubbing/sound effects can't be added at times outside (exceeding) the overall playing time.

Dubbing list

This shows the dubbing files used for the project in a list. The following explains how to edit, download, delete and pre-listen by dubbing.

  • Voice type: You can check and change the type of voice used in dubbing.
  • Playback start time: You can check and change the dubbing playback start time.
  • Content: You can check the content and playback time of the dubbing and change the dubbing content.
  • web_icon_1_19_en.png: Pre-listen the dubbing
  • web_icon_1_20_en.png: Download the dubbing to the local PC
  • web_icon_1_12_en.png: Delete the dubbing
Note

To delete all the dubbings added to the project, click the [Delete All] button on the right side of the screen.

Save and download

The projects that have finished dubbing can be saved and downloaded to a local PC for use according to the purpose.

Save

The maximum number of projects that can be saved in My project within a project group varies depending on the service plan in use. Saved projects can be opened again and subsequently edited at any time. However, deleted projects can't be recovered.

Download

It downloads the saved project to the local PC. Download is implemented by clicking Download in My Project or clicking the [Download] button in the project edit screen. There are three ways to download. The following explains each method.

Note

Projects without dubbing can't be downloaded. Only the projects with at least one dubbing added can be downloaded.

Download deduction criteria

Since the deduction of the number of characters or downloads at the time of download is linked to billing, it is necessary to clearly understand the deduction criteria and continuously monitor it. The details for deduction criteria are as follows.
