Introduction

You can send the logs created from the servers and clients to Effective Log Search & Analytics, and use web UI to easily check and search them. Now you can easily search on the web instead of accessing each server.

• Easy project registration and management

  You can save and manage application log data more easily by creating a project and entering metadata. You can even test a log transfer after entering the information required for each step to check for potential issues before application to the service.

• Intuitive dashboard

  Information on all logs is provided via Dashboard. You can check the status of logs occurring in real time and search for a specific log faster and more easily. This helps you identify root causes of errors or issues that occurred in the service.

• Analysis of mobile crash logs

  This feature allows you to save and analyze app crash information sent using the Effective Log Search & Analytics Mobile SDK. You can view information about projects where app crashes occur and log trends in real time. You can search for logs more quickly and easily and check details using the Filter.

• Project registration and management

  A UI is provided where the user can easily create a project and register required information to send and save applications logs in a simple way.
  
  From this, you can manage and view logs that occur in your service more efficiently.

• Log search dashboard

  You can check all application logs that occur in your service.
  
  Several filtering options are provided for quick and easy searches. You may look up a history of logs that occurred during a specific period or manually enter a log that you want to search for. You can also download a log search result into various types of files.

• Mobile crash log search

  A dashboard is created where you can view the status of app crash logs, for crashes that occurred in mobile devices, among the application logs transferred via the SDK and API.
  
  You can easily look up desired log results using the keyword search or the Filter.

Full process

Connect to the console and follow the steps below. Then, you can use Effective Log Search & Analytics.

• Connect to console
  • Log in to the console.
• Log in to Effective Log Search & Analytics
  • Click Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics from the menu bar on the left of the console.
• Request for use
  • Click the [+ Request for use] button in the Subscription menu.

You can create projects after submitting the request.

• Create project
  • Click the [+ Create project] button in the Projects menu.
  • Enter the project name and description in the Add project pop-up and click the [Create] button.
• Log collection settings
  • Use the SDK provided by Effective Log Search & Analytics to send logs to the selected projects.

You can check the logs collected with the web app of Effective Log Search & Analytics if log collection settings are completed.

• Connect to web app
  • Click the [Go to web app] button of the project whose log you want to check in the project list of the Projects menu.
  • Web app of Effective Log Search & Analytics is shown in a new window and you can check the collected logs.
