This guide describes how to create and manage groups from the Groups interface. After creating groups and adding projects, you can check and manage logs by groups through the web app.

Groups interface

The basics of using the Groups menu for in the Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 service are as follows.

Component Description
① Menu name Shows the current menu name and number of groups created.
② Basic features What you see when you first enter the Groups menu after signing up for the service
  • [Create Group]: Creating Groups
  • [Learn More About the Product]: Sends you to the About Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 page
  • [Refresh]: Refresh the Groups menu interface
③ Group List Lists all groups you created
  • Group Name: The group name you entered when creating the group
  • Group Description: The group description you entered when creating the group
  • Creation Time (UTC+09:00): The date the group was created
  • Modified at (UTC+09:00): When the group's basic information was last modified

Viewing Group Details

To check the information of groups you created, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. From the group list, click on a group name to check the details.
    • Basic Information
      • Group Name: The group name you entered when creating the group
      • Group ID: Group IDs are automatically assigned when groups are created
      • Group Description: The group description you entered when creating the group
      • Created Time: When the group was created
      • Edit Time: When a group’s basic information was last modified
    • Projects
      • Project information added to the group is displayed as a list.
      • By searching project names, you can view look for projects you want to see.

Creating Groups

To create a group, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Click the [Create group] button.
  4. When the group creation window appears, enter the basic information for the group.
    • Group Name: Enter the name of the group you wish to create
      • Names must begin in English and be between 2 and 45 characters long, containing a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters (-) with no spaces.
    • Group Description: Enter a description for the group.
      • 255 or fewer characters can be entered.
  5. Click [Save].
    • This creates the group and displays it in the list.

Adding Projects to a Group

To add a project to a group, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select a group name from the group list to add a project to.
  4. Click the [Add] button in the Projects field.
  5. Select the project to add to the group in the project selection popup window and click the [Save] button.
    • This adds the project to the group and displays it in the Projects field on the list.

Deleting Projects from a Group

To delete a project from a group, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select a group name from the group list to remove a project from.
  4. Click the [Delete] button in the Projects field.
  5. Check the details in the project deletion popup window, and click [Delete].
  6. Click the [OK] button.
    • This deletes the project and removes it from the Projects field in the list.

Editing Groups

To edit a group, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select the name of the group to edit from the group list.
  4. Click the [Edit] button.
  5. Edit the basic information.
    • For more information on each basic information item, see Creating.
  6. Click [Save].

Deleting Groups

To delete a group, follow the steps below.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 menu in order.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select the name of the group to delete on the group list.
  4. Click the [Delete] button.
  5. Check the details in the project deletion popup window, and click [Delete].
  6. Click the [OK] button.
    • This will delete the group and remove it from the group list.
