In Groups, it describes how to create and manage groups. Add a project to a created group to check and manage logs by groups through Web App.

The basics of using Groups menu for Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 are as follows:

Component Description
① Menu name Current menu name and number of groups created.
② Basic features What you see when you first enter the Groups menu after signing up for the service.
  • [Create group]: Create groups.
  • [Learn more]: Go to the Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 overview page.
  • [Refresh]: Reload the Groups menu page.
③ Group list Lists all groups you created.
  • Group name: The group name you entered when creating the group.
  • Group description: The group description you entered when creating the group.
  • Created time (UTC+09:00): The date and time when the group was created.
  • Edited time (UTC+09:00): The date and time when the group’s basic information was edited.

View group details

To view details of the group created:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. From the group list, click on a group name to check the details.
    • Basic Information
      • Group name: The group name you entered when creating the group.
      • Group ID: Group IDs are automatically assigned when groups are created.
      • Group description: The group description you entered when creating the group.
      • Created time: The date and time when the group was created.
      • Edited time: The date and time when the group’s basic information was edited.
    • Projects
      • Project information added to the group is displayed as a list.
      • By searching project names, you can view look for projects you want to see.

Create groups

To create a group:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Click the [Create group].
  4. When the group creation window appears, enter the basic information for the group.
    • Group name: Enter the name of the group you wish to create
      • Starting with an English letter, enter 2 to 45 characters without spaces by combining English letters, numbers, and a special character (-).
    • Group description: Enter a description for the group.
      • 255 or fewer characters can be entered.
  5. Click [Save].
    • This creates the group and displays it in the list.

Add project to the group

To add a project to a group:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select a group name from the group list to add a project to.
  4. Click the [Add] button in the Projects field.
  5. Select the project to add to the group in the project selection popup window and click the [Save] button.
    • This adds the project to the group and displays it in the Projects field on the list.

Delete project added to the group

To delete a project added to a group:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select a group name from the group list to remove a project from.
  4. Click the [Delete] button in the Projects field.
  5. Check the details in the project deletion popup window, and click [Delete].
  6. Click [OK].
    • This deletes the project and removes it from the Projects field in the list.

Edit group

To edit a group:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select the name of the group to edit from the group list.
  4. Click the [Edit].
  5. Edit the basic information.
    • For more information on each basic information item, see Creating.
  6. Click [Save].

Delete groups

To delete a group:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0.
  2. Click the Groups menu.
  3. Select the name of the group to delete on the group list.
  4. Click [Delete].
  5. Check the details in the project deletion popup window, and click [Delete].
  6. Click [OK].
    • This will delete the group and remove it from the group list.
