    In Projects, it describes how to create and manage projects. Once you complete the project creation and log collection settings, you can send logs to the project through SDK provided in Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 service and check and manage collected logs through Web App.

    The basics of using Projects menu for Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 service are as follows.

    • Edited time (UTC+09:00): date and time when project's basic information or log collection settings were edited

    View project details

    The following describes how to check the created project's information.

    1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. From the Region menu, click the Region you're using.
    3. From the Platform menu, click the platform you're using.
    4. Click Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 in order.
    5. Click the Projects menu.
    6. Click the project name on the project list to check details.
      • Project information
        • Project name: project name entered when creating the project
        • Project ID: project ID automatically assigned when creating the project
        • Group: name of the group to which the project is currently added (See Add project to the group)
        • Project description: project description entered when creating the project
        • Team name: team name entered when creating the project
        • Creation time: date and time when the project was created (UTC+09:00)
        • Edited time: date and time when project's basic information or log collection settings were edited (UTC+09:00)
        • Project key: automatically granted project key, used when collecting logs or searching
          • i-elsa2-clipboard: copy the project key value to clipboard
        • TXT token: automatically granted token value, used when collecting logs or searching
          • i-elsa2-clipboard: copy the token value to clipboard
      • Configuration
        • For further information on log collection settings, see Create project.

    Create project

    The following shows how to create a project.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

    2. Click Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 in order.

    3. Click the Projects menu.

    4. Click the [Create project] button.

    5. When the project creation page appears, enter basic information of the project and set log collection options.

      • Basic information: enter basic information of the project
        • Project name: enter the name of the group to create
          • Starting with an English letter, enter 2 to 45 characters without spaces by combining English letters, numbers, and a special character (-).
          • You cannot change the project name once the project is created
        • Team name: enter the name of the team for the project to create
          • Starting with an English letter, enter 2 to 40 characters without spaces by combining English letters, numbers, and a special character (-).
        • Project description: enter the description of the project
          • 255 or fewer characters can be entered.
      • Configurations: set options for log collection
        • Maximum daily collectible log capacity: set the maximum daily collectible log capacity (Unit: GB)
          • Set the capacity within 1024 GB.
        • Log retention period: set the retention period for the collected logs
        • Log sampling: log sampling(deleting the log data of a certain ratio) method when abnormally huge traffic occurs and setting threshold
          • Always: always apply log sampling (threshold: count/s = 0)
          • Disabled: disable sampling
          • Auto: estimate the threshold based on the daily log volume
          • Custom count: enter the threshold based on the count manually (within 50,000 count/s)
          • Custom size: enter the threshold based on the size manually (within 51,200 KIB/s)
      Note
      • Run log sampling: by checking every 30 seconds, sampling is executed when the speed of the project is faster than the threshold, which is determined to be abnormal
      • When log sampling is executed, you can check the data deletion status on the Search menu page of Web App. (Refer to Search)
    6. Click the [Save] button.

      • The Project is created and displayed on the list.

    Edit project

    The following is how to edit a project.

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 in order.
    3. Click the Projects menu.
    4. Click the name of the project to edit on the project list.
    5. Click the [Edit] button.
    6. Edit the basic information and log collection options.
      • For further information on log collection options, see Create project.
    7. Click the [Save] button.

    Delete project

    The following describes how to delete a project.

    Caution
    • When you delete a project, all logs saved in the project will be deleted and cannot be restored.
    • It takes 24 hours at maximum to delete a project, and during this time, you cannot create a project with the same name as the deleted project.
    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Management & Governance > Effective Log Search & Analytics 2.0 in order.
    3. Click the Projects menu.
    4. Click the name of the project to delete on the project list.
    5. Click the [Delete] button.
    6. Check the details in the delete prompt and then click the [Delete] button.
    7. Click the [OK] button.
      • The project is deleted and disappeared from the project list.
