    This page describes how to request subscription to Game Chat and how to create and manage projects.

    Request subscription to the Game Chat service

    The following describes how to request subscription to the Game Chat service.

    1. Access the console in NAVER Cloud Platform.
    2. Click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    3. Click the [Request subscription] button.
    4. Read the Terms and Conditions, agree to them, and then click the [Confirm] button.

    Create project

    You can create projects after your subscription request to the service is completed. Once a project is created, a URL will be created through which you can go to the project's management page.
    The following shows how to create a Game Chat project.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Click the [Create project] button.
    3. Enter the name of the chat project.
      • The name can be entered between 3 and 30 characters.
      • Only English letters, numbers, and hyphens (-) are allowed.
    4. Enter the admin ID.
      • A management page where you can manage the chat project is provided separately in Game Chat. The admin ID is used to access the management page.
      • The admin ID requires an email authentication, so enter an email address that is actually usable.
    5. Click the [Create project] button.
    6. When the project creation completion window appears, click the [OK] button.
    7. Log in to the email address you entered to be the admin ID and complete the email authentication.
    8. Enter the login password and time zone when the Game Chat admin creation page appears, and then click the [Create account] button.

    Manage project

    The following describes how to manage projects and how to switch to a paid service.

    Access the management page

    In order to access a project's management page (dashboard), the email authentication must be completed. If you can't log in to the management page, check if you've completed the email authentication.
    The following describes how to access the management page.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Click the management page URL for the project.
    3. Enter the admin ID and password to log in.

    Switch to paid plan

    When you create a project, it will be a free development project that can use up to 200 CCUs a day. You must switch to a paid plan to use 200 CCUs or more.
    The following shows how to switch to a paid plan for your project.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Click the management page URL for the project.
    3. Enter the admin ID and password to log in.
    4. Click the [Switch to paid plan] button appeared at the bottom of the management page.
    5. Check the notification window, and then click the [Confirm] button.
    Caution

    Please note that you can't switch back to the free environment once you've completed the switch from free to paid environment.

    Change project admin

    You can change the admin ID you set at the time when you created the project. When you change the admin ID, an authentication email is sent to the email address of the changed account.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Mark the checkbox of the project where you want to change the admin, and then click the [Manage project] button.
    3. Click Change account.
    4. Enter the current admin ID (email address) and the admin ID (email address) to change to, and then click the [Change] button.
    5. Log in to the email account of the changed ID and complete the authentication.

    Change project name

    You can change the project name that you set when you created the project. When you rename a project, it applies to the console and dashboard as the project name of the changed account.

    1. Click Services > Gaming > Game Chat menu in the console of Naver Cloud platform.
    2. Click the checkbox for the project you want to rename, and then click the [Project Management] button.
    3. Click ** Chanege Project name**.
    4. Enter the current project name and the project name you want to change and click the [Change] button.
    5. Check the console and dashboard for the changed project name.

    Reset the project admin account's password

    If you lost the password for the ID with which you access the Game Chat management page, then you can reset the admin account's password if you have reset it.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Mark the checkbox of the project where you want to change the admin, and then click the [Manage project] button.
    3. Click Reset password.
    4. Enter the admin ID (email address), then click the [Reset] button.

    Delete project

    The following shows how to delete a project.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Chat menus, in that order.
    2. Mark the checkbox of the project where you want to delete, and then click the [Delete project] button.
    3. Enter the project name to delete.
    4. Click the [OK] button.
    Caution

    Please be careful since all project data will be deleted once the project is deleted.
