    Connect to Think Core

    The following describes how to connect to the Think Core page.

    1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, click the Services > Gaming > Game Report menus, in that order.
    2. Click Go to dashboard.
    3. Log in to Service Center with the admin account.
    4. Click All games at the upper right of the screen, select the game you want to go to its Think Core page, and then click Service Center > Think Core, in that order.
    Note

    You can go to the Think Core page of the games created by the admin by following the following steps.

    1. Click the Services > Gaming > Game Report menus, in that order.
    2. From the Game information list, click the game's link address in the Dashboard link column.

    Dashboard

    Custom dashboard

    The admin can select only the indicators they want and view card type indicators which show the game data analyses. You can set up 5 custom dashboards which may contain up to 8 card type indicators.

    The following describes how to view custom dashboards.

    1. Click Dashboard > Custom dashboard.

    2. Select the date you want to see, and then click the [Search] button.

      • To view a custom dashboard that is already set up, click the Custom dashboard 1 dropdown menu and select the custom dashboard to view.
      • For how to set up custom dashboards, see Set custom dashboard.

    Set custom dashboard

    The following describes how to set up custom dashboards.

    1. Click Dashboard > Custom dashboard.
    2. Click the Custom dashboard 1 dropdown menu, select a custom dashboard to set up, and then click the [Dashboard settings] button.
    3. Select card type indicators you want, and then click the [Save] button.
    • Up to 8 card type indicators can be set up, and their orders can be changed by dragging and dropping the cards.
    • If you'd like to change the indicators while you have all 8 indicators set up, then click an indicator from the list at the bottom to remove it, and then click an indicator you want to include.
    • List of card type indicators: retention D1 - D7, new user sign-up (MTS), first-time payment time by user, sales amount, number of paying users, sales (via advertisement or organic traffic), sign-up by country (inflow), DAU (level), DAU (via advertisement or organic traffic), new user sign-up (inflow), average DAU (MTS), sign-up by country (rank), BU rate (rounded down), BU rate (rounded up), retention table, churned user group, level distribution

    Regular dashboard

    Indicators such as KPI information, member, sales, playtime, and payment status can be viewed.

    The following describes how to view the regular dashboard.

    1. Click Dashboard > Regular dashboard.
    2. Select the date you want to see, and then click the [Search] button.
    • You can view the indicators sorted by day, week, or month.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to chart or table.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data. The file downloaded will be an image (.png) if the indicator is shown as a graph, and an Excel file (.xlsx) if the indicator is shown as a table.
    • You can use the Set event feature in the dashboard to add events on the dates you want, and the event details added will be displayed in light blue on the related graph. Hover the mouse cursor on the location to see the event name.

    KPI summary

    You can search the KPI indicator of the desired date, view and download it.

    The following describes how to view the summary of KPI indicator.

    1. Click Dashboard > KPI summary.
    2. Select the date you want to see, and then click the [Search] button.
    • Select a date and click the [Search] button. The KPI indicator of the searched data will be displayed first.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the searched KPI indicators in an Excel (.xlsx) file format.

    A variety of indicators can be viewed. These are the results of comparison and analysis from the game data from the same time range on previous day and today, such as user access status, sales, game goods, stage play pattern information, etc.

    The following describes how to view the real-time indicators.

    1. Click Real-time dashboard.
    2. Click an indicator menu you'd like to view.
    3. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
      • Click the [Reset] button to reset the search conditions.
    • Indicators menu: concurrent users, accumulated registered users, accumulated sales, accumulated payment, stage analysis (content utilization analysis), item acquisition/consumption analysis, item enhancement (access/success/failure) analysis, goods acquisition/consumption analysis, banner click/click rate analysis
    • The indicators corresponding to the set search conditions are displayed in gray.
    • If you click an indicator to view, then the related indicators will also be refreshed.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_excel_ko to download the indicator data in an Excel (.xlsx) file format.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data as an image (.png) file format.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • Click the indicator category to hide or unhide the data.
    • Stage usage status is analyzed based on logs inserted through SDK. The logs can be inserted in a variety of forms, such as content, monster, obstacle, etc.

    Installation

    You can check the detailed status of the installed devices, as well as the status of device installations during the search period.

    The following describes how to check the installation status.

    1. Click Installation, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • Installation menu: Summary, Status, App version, Error message

    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.

    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.

    New user

    You can check the new user inflow status, conversion rate, and revisit status.

    The following describes how to check the new user status.

    1. Click New user, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.

    User analysis

    User status by type (new, revisited, churned, returned) can be viewed by date, inflow, channel, and country.

    The following describes how to check the user status by type.

    1. Click User analysis, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • User analysis menu: New member status, Revisitor status, Churned user status, Returned user status
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.

    • If you've clicked a date from Indicators by date and switched to Indicator details, then click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_switch_ko on the right side above the indicator to go back to Indicators by date.
    • Click the indicator category to hide or unhide the data.
    • You can use the [Set cohort] feature to view user information. For more information, see Set and analyze cohort.

    User analysis details

    Status of churned, revisited, and returned users can be analyzed in more depth.

    The following describes how to analyze and view the status of churned, revisited, and returned users in detail.

    1. Click User analysis details, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
      • User analysis details menu: Churned user analysis, Revisited user analysis, Returned user analysis
    2. Set the date you want to see, and then click the [Search] button.
    • Churned user analysis
      • Information of the users without login for n days can be viewed by all, paying user, and non-paying user.
      • Detailed churn information (churn level, accumulated number and amount of payment, accumulated play time) on a date selected from the daily churn indicators can be viewed.
      • Indicators by churn probability user group of a specific date can be compared and analyzed. For more information, see Churn probability user group - detailed indicator analysis.
    • Revisited user analysis
      • Click the [Exclude reroll-suspected users] tab to see the results with users who created multiple accounts from one device counted as one user.
      • Revisited user data can be analyzed in detail, by level, number of logins, stay time, and payment information.
    • Returned user analysis
      • Returned user data after churn can be analyzed in detail, by return level, amount and number of payments, and duration of play.
      • The trend of returned users after churn during a search period can be viewed.

    Churn probability user group - detailed indicator analysis

    Indicators by churn probability user group of a specific date can be compared and analyzed.

    The following describes how to compare indicators by churn probability user group on a specific date.

    1. Click User analysis details > Churned user analysis.
    2. Select dates to compare in the "Churn probability user group - detailed indicator analysis" area, and then click the [Search] button.
    • You can click the [Download user list] button for individual indicators in the comparison analysis result table to download the list of users on that date.

    Sales analysis

    Game sales status can be viewed by date, inflow, channel, and country.

    The following describes how to analyze and view the game sales status.

    1. Click Sales, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • Sales summary
      • You can view the sales summary information on the searched date which shows the game's first payment, repeated payment, ARPU, ARPPU, etc. The game's sales status can also be viewed by inflow, channel, and country.
      • You can use the [Set cohort] feature to view user information. For more information, see Set and analyze cohort.
    • Payment time trend
      • Payment time trend information: The user's payment time trend information (by MTS) during a search period can be viewed.
      • Daily sales of the chosen group: You can view the daily sales information of the chosen group in "Payment time trend information," by selecting a specific time group.
      • Comparison table of payment purchase time for 2 weeks: You can compare the fluctuation in the number of purchasing users by payment time (by MTS) in the last 2 weeks.
      • First-time payment information by date: You can view the number of the users who make first-time payments and the number of the users in each MTS section.
    • Association analysis – Level
      • Sales by level: You can view the payment amount by level on each date. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of the dates in a chart.
      • Sales details by level: You can view the key indicators related to the sales by each level. Select a specific level and click the [Analyze] button to check which item is generating a large amount of sales.
    • Association analysis – Item
      • Sales analysis by item: You can view the payment amount by item during a search period.
      • Daily sales of the chosen item: Select a specific item in "Sales analysis by item" to view the daily sales information of the chosen item.
      • Sales by item: You can view the sales amount by item during a chosen period. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of the sales amount by item.
      • Item analysis: You can view the product information which was purchased together. Select a specific item and click the [Analyze] button to view the most purchased item after the purchase of the chosen item by date.

    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.

    In-game status

    Game status can be viewed by date, inflow, channel, and country.

    The following describes how to analyze and view the game status.

    1. Click Game status, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • Level distribution summary
      • Churned users distribution by level: Distribution of churned users by date can be viewed. You can also view the churn status by level by clicking a specific date.
      • Paying and non-paying user information by level: Distribution of paying and non-paying users by date can be viewed. You can also view the paying and non-paying status by level by clicking a specific date.
      • User information by inflow type at each level: Inflow distribution by date can be viewed. You can also view the inflow distribution status by level by clicking a specific date.
      • You can use the [Set cohort] feature to view user information. For more information, see Set and analyze cohort.
    • Level distribution analysis
      • Level distribution information: You can view the number of users by level on each date. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of user number status on the selected dates.
      • Analysis information by level: You can view the indicators related to the sales by level. Select a specific level and click the [Analyze] button to also view the stay time and payment status of the selected level.
      • Login count information by level: You can view the login count by level on each date. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of the login count by level on the selected dates.
    • Mission/stage analysis
      • Mission/stage summary information: You can view each mission category's success rate and success rate average. You can also view the causes of failures by selecting up to 3 content items and clicking the [Failure cause analysis] button.
      • Mission analysis: You can view each mission's details. Select up to 3 content items and click the [Analyze] button to also view the missions' success an failure status by date and by acquired item.
    • Banner analysis
      • Banner analysis: Information of banner hits, clicks, and click conversion rate by date can be viewed.
      • Banner analysis details: Information of banner hits by banner type, clicks, and click conversion rate during the search period can be viewed.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • If you've clicked a date from Indicators by date and switched to Indicator details, then click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_switch_ko on the right side above the indicator to go back to Indicators by date.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data. The file downloaded will be an image (.png) if the indicator is shown as a graph, and an Excel file (.xlsx) if the indicator is shown as a table.
    • Click the indicator category to hide or unhide the data.

    In-game resources

    Game resource status can be viewed by date, inflow, channel, and country.

    The following describes how to analyze and view game resources.

    1. Click Game resources, and then click the menu you'd like to view.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • Game item summary
      • Game item information: You can view the incoming and outgoing status of game items during the search period.
      • Incoming/outgoing goods analysis by item: You can view the incoming/outgoing history of goods by item.
    • Game item analysis
      • Game item distribution information: You can view the acquisition/consumption status by game item during the search period. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of item acquisition and consumption status by date.
      • In-game item analysis: You can view the acquisition and consumption status by item. Select up to 3 items and click the [Analyze] button to view the item acquisition and consumption status of the selected items by level, content, and other.
    • Game goods summary
      • Game goods summary Information: You can view the incoming and outgoing status by game goods during the search period.
      • Incoming/outgoing goods analysis by item: You can view the incoming/outgoing status of goods which was consumed to acquire items.
    • Game goods analysis
      • Game goods distribution: You can view the acquisition/consumption status by game goods during the search period. Select up to 3 dates and click the [Comparison analysis] button to view the comparison analysis result of goods acquisition and consumption status by date.
      • In-game goods analysis: You can view the acquisition and consumption status by game goods. Select up to 3 goods and click the [Analyze] button to view the goods acquisition and consumption status of the selected goods by level, content, and other.
    • Item enhancement analysis
      • Game item enhancement analysis by level: You can view the enhancement attempts, success, failure, and success rate by user level. Select up to 3 levels and click the [Analyze] button to also view each level's detailed enhancement status.
      • Game item enhancement analysis by item: You can view the enhancement attempts, success, failure, and success rate by item. Select up to 3 items and click the [Analyze] button to also view each level's detailed enhancement status.
    • Item gacha analysis
      • You can view the purchase status of gacha items during the search period. Select up to 3 item IDs and click the [Analyze] button to also view the detailed status by level and by acquired item of the selected item IDs.
      • Information of users who keeps resetting their account on the same device to get better gacha items (reroll) can also be viewed.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data. The file downloaded will be an image (.png) if the indicator is shown as a graph, and an Excel file (.xlsx) if the indicator is shown as a table.
    • Click the indicator category to hide or unhide the data.

    Event analysis

    You can view the status of event items you added through the SDK.

    The following describes how to analyze and view the event status.

    1. Click Event analysis.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • Select up to 3 event names and click the [Analyze] button to view the comparison analysis result of the selected events' user number by date and level, number of plays, and number of successes.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data. The file downloaded will be an image (.png) if the indicator is shown as a chart, and an Excel file (.xlsx) if the indicator is shown as a table.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_graph_ko.png or gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_matrix_ko to switch the indicator type to graph or table.
    • Click the indicator category to hide or unhide the data.

    Funnel analysis

    Event funnels can be created, analyzed, and managed.

    Register new event funnel

    The following describes how to register a new event funnel.

    1. Click Funnel analysis > Register new event funnel.
    2. Set the event with up to 5 steps, enter a name for the event funnel group, and then click the [Save] button.
      • Click the Select event dropdown menu to see the event list sent to the server through SDK.
    3. Click the [OK] button in the confirmation pop-up window.

    Funnel analysis and management

    The following describes how to analyze and manage event funnels.

    1. Click Funnel analysis.
    2. Set a search standard, click "Event funnel group" and select the event funnel group you want to see from the dropdown menu, and then click the [Search] button.
    • Event funnel analysis
      • You can view the event funnel groups searched based on the number of users, plays, and successes. Click an analysis item to see the analysis chart based on the analysis item.
    • To edit an event funnel, click the "Funnel analysis group settings" area, adjust the event funnel settings, and then click the [Save] button.
    • To delete an event funnel, click the "Funnel analysis group settings" area, and then click the [Delete] button.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_excel_ko to download the indicator data in an Excel (.xlsx) file format.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data as an image (.png) file format.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.

    Rank analysis

    Character information of "whale" users with the high accumulated purchase amount can be viewed by date, inflow, channel, and country.

    The following describes how to view ranking users.

    1. Click Ranking analysis.
    2. Click the [Search] button after setting the search conditions.
    • You can click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_download_ko to download the indicator data in an Excel (.xlsx) file format.
    • Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_info_ko to view a detailed description of the indicator.

    Cohort settings and analysis

    You can separate items you want to perform cohort analysis, such as OS information, inflow channel, user level, and game goods consumption amount, and create a cohort with it. Then, you can perform a comparison analysis on the created cohort.

    Create cohort

    The following describes how to create a cohort.

    1. Click the menu you want to create a cohort with from the LNB menu.
      • User analysis menu: New member status, Revisitor status, Churned user status, Returned user status
      • Sales menu: sales summary
      • Game status menu: level distribution summary
    2. Click the [Set cohort] button.
    3. Click the [Add] button.
    4. Enter a cohort name, select items in the category by clicking, and then click the [Save] button.
      • Clicking on a selected item will deselect it.

    Edit cohort

    The following describes how to edit the cohort created.

    1. Click the menu you want to edit the cohort with from the LNB menu.
      • User analysis menu: New member status, Revisitor status, Churned user status, Returned user status
      • Sales menu: sales summary
      • Game status menu: level distribution summary
    2. Click the [Set cohort] button.
    3. Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_cohort02_ko, which appears when you hover the cursor over the cohort name.
    4. Edit the cohort information, and click the [Save] button.

    Delete cohort

    The following describes how to delete the cohort created.

    1. Click the menu you want to delete cohort from the LNB menu.
      • User analysis menu: New member status, Revisitor status, Churned user status, Returned user status
      • Sales menu: sales summary
      • Game status menu: level distribution summary
    2. Click the [Set cohort] button.
    3. Click gamereport-gamereportuse-thinkcore_cohort01_ko, which appears when you hover the cursor over the cohort name.
    4. From the confirmation pop-up window, click the [Confirm] button.

    Cohort analysis

    The following describes how to compare and analyze the created cohort.

    1. Click the menu you want to analyze as cohort from the LNB menu.
      • User analysis menu: New member status, Revisitor status, Churned user status, Returned user status
      • Sales menu: sales summary
      • Game status menu: level distribution summary
    2. Click the [Set cohort] button.
    3. Click the name of the cohort which will be compared, and then click the [Search] button.
      • Clicking the selected cohort or the "[X]" button in the selection field will deselect the cohort.
    • In order to release the cohort analysis status, click the [Set cohort] button, deselect the cohort that was selected, and then click the [Search] button.
