There is a glossary of terms you need to know to use GeoLocation. The glossary and its description are as follows.

Application Services

NAVER Cloud Platform's Service category that supports the development of diverse services through the APIs that contain technologies and services used by NAVER

IP Address

A unique identifier for a specific device interface connected to the network in the global Internet space. It serves as a locator identifier that represents the location of the device(Source: Telecommunications Technology Association)

RESTful API

An API created in compliance with REST principles(Source: Telecommunications Technology Association)

GeoLocation

A NAVER Cloud Platform service that searches the local information DB for the IP address queried by the customer server and sends applicable local information to the customer server

Query

Processing at the web client's request asking to show specific information on the web server
