Subscribe and unsubscribe

Available in Classic and VPC

If you have checked the use environment and supported specifications of GeoLocation and learned the Usage scenarios and Glossary, you are ready to get started with GeoLocation. The first thing to do is subscribe to GeoLocation. You can subscribe to GeoLocation and manage your subscription in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Subscribe

The following describes how to request a subscription to GeoLocation.

1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. From the Region menu, click the Region you are using.
3. From the Platform menu, click the platform you are using.
4. Click the Services > Application Services > GeoLocation menus, in that order.
5. Click the [Subscribe] button.
6. When the service subscription pop-up window appears, agree to the terms of service.
7. Select your monthly usage limit.
   • Unlimited use: API calls can be made unlimitedly, regardless of the monthly limit
   • Limited use: limit the number of API calls based on the set monthly limit
     • Enter the maximum monthly usage
   Note

   The monthly usage limit can be changed even after the subscription. For detailed methods, see Monthly usage limit settings.

8. Click the [OK] button.
9. In the subscription pop-up window, click the [OK] button.
   • The GeoLocation subscription request will be completed.

Unsubscribe

The following describes how to cancel the subscription to GeoLocation.

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and Platform menu of the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click the Services > Application Services > GeoLocation menu.
3. Click the Subscription menu.
4. Click the [Product in use] button, and then click Unsubscribe product.
5. Check the details in the pop-up window for unsubscribing service, and click the [OK] button.
6. In the unsubscribe pop-up window, click the [OK] button.
   • The subscription request will be canceled.
