Once you've reviewed the GeoLocation user environment, full quickstart and glossary, you're ready to start using the service. Your first step is subscribing to GeoLocation. You subscribe to and manage the use of GeoLocation in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Subscribe to the service

To subscribe to GeoLocation:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region & Platform at the upper right of the console interface.
  3. Select the Region in use and the platform, and then click [Apply].
  4. At the upper left of the console interface, click the iconi_menu.
  5. Navigate to Services > Application Services > GeoLocation.
  6. Click [Subscribe].
  7. In the subscription popup, agree to the terms of service.
  8. Select a monthly usage limit.
    • Unlimited usage: Make unlimited API calls regardless of the monthly limit.
    • Limited usage: Limit the number of API calls based on the configured monthly limit.
      • Enter the maximum monthly usage.
    Note

    You can change the monthly usage limit after subscribing. For details, see Monthly usage limit settings.

  9. Click [OK].
  10. On the subscription popup, click [OK].
  • You are now subscribed to GeoLocation.

Unsubscribe from the service

To cancel your GeoLocation subscription:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. Click Region & Platform at the upper right of the console interface.
  3. Select the Region in use and the platform, and then click [Apply].
  4. At the upper left of the console interface, click the iconi_menu.
  5. Navigate to Services > Application Services > GeoLocation.
  6. Click the Subscription menu.
  7. Click [Product in use], and click Unsubscribe.
  8. In the unsubscription popup, review the details, then click [OK].
  9. In the unsubscription popup, click [OK].
    • Your subscription is now canceled.
