This document describes how to change the settings of a created Global CDN, cancel a CDN and how to delete cached contents.

Change CDN settings

To change the CDN settings:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global CDN.
  2. Click to select the service to edit on the CDN list and then click [Change settings].
  3. Edit the detailed settings.
  4. Once you have made all the necessary changes, click [Change settings] on the final screen that appears.
    • It may take a few minutes for the changes to be applied. However, changes to the domain may take more than 1 hour to be applied.
    • The CDN status changes from Configuring to Deploying and then to Operating. You can view the CDN status on the CDN list.
Note

To relocate a service domain, set up a desired domain in a new CDN and then replace the CDN domain of the client's service with the newly created one. Check the transfer and request analytics of the existing CDN. If the usage is 0, it means that the service domain has been successfully relocated. After completing relocation, be sure to return the existing domain.

CDN purge

Global CDN allows you to perform high-speed purge and also check the purge history.

Perform purge

To perform the purge:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global CDN.
  2. On the CDN list, click to select the service to perform purge on and then click [Purge].
  3. On the Purge popup window, select the purge targets.
    • All files: Purge all cached objects.
    • Enter file: Purge specific objects within a specific directory. Require to enter directory and file extension.
      • To enter multiple files, insert a line break between the file names.
  4. Click the [Apply] button.
    • Purge starts. Purging all files may take up to 1 hour.

View purge history

To view the history of purges:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global CDN.
  2. On the CDN list, click to select the service whose purge history you wish to view, and then click [Purge log].
  3. You can view the purge history on the Purge log popup window.
    • You can view up to 5 histories.
    • To download the purge history, click [Download excel file].
    • The log opens even if you enter the file name incorrectly.

Pause and restart CDN

To pause an operating edge or restart a paused edge:

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global CDN.
  2. On the CDN list, click to select the service to pause or restart, and then click [Pause] or [Restart].
  3. On the popup window that appears, click [Pause] or [Restart].
    • The CDN status changes. The status change may take anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours.

Cancel CDN

To cancel a CDN service:

You can only cancel a paused CDN service.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to i_menu > Services > Content Delivery > Global CDN.
  2. On the CDN list, click to select the service to cancel. Then, click [Cancel CDN].
  3. On the Cancel CDN popup window, click [Cancel].
    • The service is returned and disappears from the CDN list.
