On Global CDN of NAVER Cloud Platform, you can conveniently request and manage a CDN service. Although you can see Getting started with Global CDN or Using Global CDN to learn how to use Global CDN, it is recommended to first take a look at the use scenario that outlines the entire procedure of using the service. By reading through the use scenario first and then learning the instructions, you will be able to use Global CDN more efficiently. The following are the sequence of using Global CDN and descriptions of each step.
1. Set usage permissions
2. Pre-set the environment
3. Request CDN
4. Monitor and manage CDN
1. Set usage permissions
When Global CDN needs to be managed and shared by multiple users, you can assign different permissions to the users. You can either assign the administrator permission or the user permission to each user and define roles for each permission through Sub Account on NAVER Cloud Platform. Permission setting is not mandatory to use the service, so you can enable or disable the setting as necessary while using Global CDN.
Sub Account is a service provided free of charge upon subscription request. For the introduction to Sub Account or more information on pricing, see Services > Management & Governance > Sub Account in NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
You can refer to the following user guide:
2. Pre-set the environment
Prepare an original server containing the original content to cache. You can store content within Object Storage on NAVER Cloud Platform or use external storage owned by the customer. The following user guides are some references that you can use when using Object Storage.
3. Request CDN
Request a CDN service to cache and transfer the content. You can refer to the following user guide:
4. Monitor and manage CDN
Monitor the created CDN server and manage the CDN service through making changes to the service settings and performing purge when necessary. You can also view the monthly usage statistics of the CDN service. You can refer to the following user guide:
