IoT Edge Overview

Available in Classic and VPC.

IoT Edge is a service of NAVER Cloud Platform that can quickly and safely connect and manage large-scale IoT devices with the cloud. You can easily build local IoT services on edge devices such as embedded equipment or small computing equipment.

Various functions provided by IoT Edge

A description of the various features provided by IoT Edge is as follows:

• Provide Edge device information: Provides information on the Edge device installation and service configuration.
• Local Message Broker Service: IoT devices connected to the Edge device can send and receive MQTT messages without going through the cloud, and can send messages to the cloud as needed. IoT devices connect using certificate security.
• Local Functions service: You can run Functions defined in Cloud Functions on Edge devices.
• Deployment: You can flexibly change the local IoT service configuration via deployment.
