Create and set VPC, network ACL, subnet, ACG, server to create a Load Balancer are also done in console. Load Balancer supports VPC and Classic environments, and use scenarios vary. Check the use scenario, depending on the use environment. ## VPC environment use scenario The Load Balancer service usage scenarios in the VPC environment can be described as follows. 1. Create and set VPC, network ACL, and subnet: console - Create VPC - Create network ACL and set rule - Create subnet - Guide page for this stage - [Create VPC](/docs/en/vpc-manage-vpc#VPC%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) - [Create subnet](/docs/en/vpc-subnetmanage-vpc#Subnet%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) - [Create network ACL](/docs/en/vpc-nacl-vpc#NetworkACL%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) - [Set network ACL rules](/docs/en/vpc-nacl-vpc#NetworkACL%EA%B7%9C%EC%B9%99%EC%84%A4%EC%A0%95) 2. Create and set server and ACG: console - Create and set ACG - Create server - Guide page for this stage - [Setting firewall (ACG)](/docs/en/server-acg-vpc) - [Creating server (VPC)](/docs/en/compute-compute-1-1-v2#%EC%84%9C%EB%B2%84%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1VPC) - [Checking server information and managing server](/docs/en/compute-server-manage) 3. Register SSL certificate: console - Guide page for this stage - [Register SSL certificate](/docs/en/security-security-15-1#SSL%EC%9D%B8%EC%A6%9D%EC%84%9C%EB%93%B1%EB%A1%9D) 4. Create target group: console - Guide page for this stage - [Create target group](/docs/en/loadbalancer-targetgroup-vpc#TargetGroup%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) 5. Set and manage target group: console - Set target group - Set health check - Set target - Check target status - Target group monitoring - Guide page for this stage - [Manage target group](/docs/en/loadbalancer-targetgroup-vpc#TargetGroup%EA%B4%80%EB%A6%AC) Note When setting target group, check 6. Set proxy protocol only if proxy protocol is applied. 1. Set proxy protocol: Apache, NGINX - Guide page for this stage [Set proxy protocol](/docs/en/loadbalancer-targetgroup-vpc#ProxyProtocol%EC%84%A4%EC%A0%95) 2. Create Load Balancer: console - Guide page for this stage - [Getting started with Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-start-classic) - [Application Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-application-vpc#ApplicationLoadBalancer%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) - [Create Network Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-network-vpc#NetworkLoadBalancer%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) - [Create Network Proxy Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-proxylb-vpc#NetworkProxyLoadBalancer%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) 3. Manage Load Balancer: console - Guide page for this stage - [Manage Application Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-application-vpc#ApplicationLoadBalancer%EA%B4%80%EB%A6%AC) - [Manage Network Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-network-vpc#NetworkLoadBalancer%EA%B4%80%EB%A6%AC) - [Manage Network Proxy Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-proxylb-vpc#NetworkProxyLoadBalancer%EA%B4%80%EB%A6%AC) ## Classic environment use scenario The Load Balancer service usage scenarios in the Classic environment can be described as follows. 1. Create and set server and ACG: console - Create and set ACG - Create server - Guide page for this stage - [Setting firewall (ACG)](/docs/en/compute-compute-2-3) - [Creating server (VPC)](/docs/en/compute-compute-1-1-v2#%EC%84%9C%EB%B2%84%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1VPC) - [Checking server information and managing server](/docs/en/compute-server-manage) 2. Create Load Balancer: console - Guide page for this stage - [Getting started with Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-start-classic) - [Creating and managing Load Balancer](/docs/en/loadbalancer-classiclb-classic#LoadBalancer%EC%83%9D%EC%84%B1) Note When setting Load Balancer, check 3. Set proxy protocol only if **TCP** or **SSL** protocol is selected and proxy protocol is applied. 1. Set proxy protocol: Apache, NGINX - Guide page for this stage - [Set proxy protocol](/docs/en/loadbalancer-classiclb-classic#ProxyProtocol%EC%84%A4%EC%A0%95) 2.
