    In Debug, you can check statistics on buffering and errors occurred in the player.

    The following indicator related to debug is as follows:

    1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
    2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
    3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
    4. Click the [Go to MEDIA ANALYTICS] button at the top of the screen.
    5. Log in with Admin account ID and password.
    6. Click Debug menu, then select and click the sub-menu to check.
      • Error rate: the percentage of errors occurring from the number of Clicks of the entire viewers
      • Start failure: number of playback failures on the player
      • Rebuffering rate: total play time when rebuffering occurs due to insufficient image data
      • Buffering time: average duration taken for playback to temporarily pause and resume

    Error rate

    You can check the percentage of errors among the total number of playbacks viewers clicking the play button.

    The following are detailed collection criteria on indicators:

      • Reset: click Reset Filters to remove all applied filters.
    • Graph expansion: a certain area to drag within the graph becomes enlarged. To return the graph to its initial state, click the [Reset] button.
    • Save collected data: you can review individually collected data based on criteria in the list at the bottom of the screen. To save the data locally, click i-vpe_download.

    Start failure

    You can check number of playback failures on the player.

    Usage
    • Using rebuffering as an important indicator to evaluate user experience and performance
    • A high rebuffering rate indicates that users may not have smoothly viewed the video due to the long buffering time. To improve user experience, identifying the causes of rebuffering and improving are necessary
