If you have checked the supported and required specifications for Media Connect Center and duly noted all the scenarios and terms, then you are now ready to start using Media Connect Center. The first thing to do now is to request subscription for the Media Connect Center service. You can request subscription to Media Connect Center and manage your subscription in NAVER Cloud Platform's console.
When the subscription request is complete, you should check if you can normally access the Media Connect Center web from a PC's web browser.

Request subscription
The following describes how to request subscription to Media Connect Center from the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Connect to the console in NAVER Cloud Platform.
- From the Platform menu, click and select between VPC and Classic.
- Click the Services > Media > Media Connect Center menus, in that order.
- Click the My Products menu.
- Click the [Request subscription] button.
- When the subscription request screen appears, proceed with the following steps in order.
Click the [Request subscription] button from Service > Media > Media Connect Center in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal to go directly to the page in Step 4.
1. Enter Media Connect Center information
The following describes how to enter basic information to request subscription to Media Connect Center.
- When the Enter Media Connect Center information page appears, enter the information of the company who will use the service.
- Company ID: Enter the ID to be used as the access URL, a combination of 3 to 63 English lowercase letters and numbers, and then click [Check for duplicates]
- Default Language: Select the default language for Media Connect Center web screen among Korean, English, and Japanese.
- Click the [Enter company information] button.
2. Enter admin information
The following describes how to enter Media Connect Center's admin information.
- When the Enter admin information page appears, enter the information of the person in charge to manage Media Connect Center.
- Main admin ID: Enter email address to use when logging in to Media Connect Center (for receiving the email to set password)
- Click the [Set storage] button.
3. Set storage
The following describes how to set storage to be managed in Media Connect Center.
- When the Set storage page appears, set the storage to be managed.
- [Select bucket] button: Click if you'd like to select an Object Storage bucket as a storage to be managed
- [Set later] button: Click if you want to deselect the selected storage and then set storage after completing the subscription request
- Click the [Complete request] button.
- Additional fees apply when you request subscription to Object Storage. For the introduction on Object Storage and details about its pricing plans, refer to the Service > Storage > Object Storage menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.
- Even if you don't set storage in step 3., you can set it in the Media Connect Center web page. Refer to Bucket folder for how to set it up.
4. Complete request
The following describes how to check the Media Connect Center subscription request information and set password for the account to use to log in to Media Connect Center.
- When the Complete request window appears, click the [OK] button.
- When the My Products screen appears, check the required information.
- [Product in use] button: Click to cancel subscription
- [Go to Media Connect Center] button: Click to go to Media Connect Center access URL for your company
- [Learn more about the product] button: Click to go to the service introduction page in the portal
- [Refresh] button: Update the current page with the latest information
- Request subscription information: Check information of your subscription request
- Creation date and time: The date when the service subscription request was made
- Service URL: Media Connect Center access URL for your company
- Main admin account: Media Connect Center account ID for your company (email address)
- [Reset password] button: Click if you want to change your main admin account's password
- [Change admin account] button: Click if you want to change your main admin account ID
- Number of users: The number of users using the service
- Bucket in use: Information of the storage being managed by Media Connect Center
- [Add bucket] button: Click if you want to add an Object Storage bucket to manage
- [Remove from management] button: Click if you want to remove an Object Storage bucket from management
- Bucket name: Click to go to the Bucket information page under Storage > Object Storage > Bucket Management
- Storage in use: The amount of storage being used by the service
- Pricing plan: Name and period of the pricing plan you subscribed to
- Please check the authentication email sent to the email address registered.
- From the email, click the [Set password] button to set the password of the account to be used for Media Connect Center login.
- When the
window appears, set the password and click the [OK ] button.
- New password: Enter a combination of English letters and numbers between 8 and 20 characters. 3 or more consecutive or repeated letters or numbers can't be used
- Confirm new password: Enter the identical value as the new password
Cancel subscription
You can cancel the Media Connect Center subscription from the NAVER Cloud Platform console. You can cancel the subscription any time you want, but please take note of the billing standard when canceling. The following describes how to cancel subscription.
- From the NAVER Cloud Platform console's Platform menu, click and select between VPC and Classic.
- Click the Services > Media > Media Connect Center menus, in that order.
- Click the My Products menu.
- Click the [Product in use] button, and click Cancel subscription.
- When the Cancer product subscription pop-up window appears, click the [Cancel] button.
Check PC web access
The following describes how to check for normal access on the web after requesting subscription to Media Connect Center is completed from the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
- Enter the Media Connect Center access URL for your company on a web browser to access.
- If you are an admin: From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, go to the My Products menu under the Services > Media > Media Connect Center menu. Click [Go to Media Connect Center] button to view the Media Connect Center URL for your company
- If you are a user: View the Media Connect Center URL for your company in the sign-up invitation email sent by the admin
- Select the default language to use on web.
- Enter the account's email address and password, and then click the [Login] button.
- Please refer to Content pool for the description of Media Connect Center web.
- To safely log out for security, click the user account at the top right of the screen, and then click Logout.
If the account is set as suspended by an admin, then the notification message appears when trying to log in that the account is suspended and can't access Media Connect Center. If you need access, then please contact the admin.
