# NAS prerequisites

Available in Classic and VPC

View the supported environment for the best use of NAS and service fee.

## Cloud environment specifications

The cloud environment specifications supported by NAS are as follows:

| Item | Specifications |
| --- | --- |
| Region (Zone) | Korea, U.S., Singapore, Japan, and Germany |
| Platform | VPC, Classic |
| Languages | Korean, English, and Japanese |

## System requirements

The recommended specifications required to use NAS are as follows:

| Item | Required specifications |
| --- | --- |
| Web browsers | Internet Explorer 10 or later, Chrome |
| Display resolution | A width of 1920 px |
| PC operating systems | Windows 10 or later, Mac 10.13 or later |
| Mobile operating systems | Android 5 or later, iOS 12 or later |

## Service minimum specifications

| Item | Provided specifications | Note |

| Default capacity | 500 GB ~ 20,000 GB | Can be set by 100 GB unit |
| Supported protocols | NFS, CIFS | Support for CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows servers |
| Security | Volume encryption supported | Select AES-256 upon creating volumes |
| Data recovery | Redundancy configuration and snapshot supported |  |
| Monitoring | Usage tracking, detecting, and notification functions supported |  |

## Pricing information

NAS is serviced on a monthly or hourly pricing plan depending on the requested volume. If you've used NAS with a monthly pricing plan for less than 1 month, the usage fee calculated daily is charged.
