In this section, we will describe how to manage the event that occurred in the NAS volume data.
In case of event occurrence after setting events, the event notification is sent to the person in charge.
To access the ** event **menu, connect to the NAVER Cloud Platform portal and click [console] >
> Services > Storage > NAS > snapshot in order.
- Starting in June 2025, the event management feature in NAS Service will be integrated into Cloud Insight to provide a more sophisticated and integrated monitoring environment.
- You can only view previously configured events in the event menu, and new monitoring and event configurations are only available through Cloud Insight.
- The metrics available through Cloud Insight can be found in the NAS (VPC) metrics.

Event screen
The event screen is laid out as follows:

| ① Menu name | The name of the menu currently being viewed, the number of NAS volumes where event notification is set. |
| ② Basic features | Service introduction page, download the event list, refresh the list. |
| ③ Post-creation features | Change event settings, remove events, and view event settings and logs. |
| ④ Event list | Displays a list of events that have occurred and their details. |
Check event list
You can check event information for each NAS volume in the event list. To view the information, follow these steps:
- The list can be checked if there are more than 1 NAS volume where an event is set. If there is no NAS volume where an event is set, then the list isn't displayed in the Event page. For more details on event settings, see event settings.
- The event log displays event logs from the last seven days.
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Click on the NAS volume in the event list to view the event information that occurred.
- NAS volume name: the name of NAS volume
- Zone: zone where the created NAS volume is located
- Requested volume capacity: NAS volume capacity that was requested when creating the volume
- Event setting date and time: date and time when the event was set
- Recent event date and time: date and time when the recent event occurred
- Recent event count: number of recent events that occurred
- Notification settings: list of recipients to be notified of event
Changing event settings
To change the event settings, follow these steps:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Select NAS volume to change its event settings and click the [change event settings] button.
- Check the volume for which you want to change the event or notification settings and click the [next] button.
- Set the event to apply on the selected NAS volume and click the [next] button.
- If you want to add an event, enter the threshold and duration of the event to be set, and click the [add] button.
- To edit an event, click the [edit] button and edit the threshold and duration of the event. Click the [save] button.
- Click the [delete] button to delete the event.
- Edit the recipient of the event notification and click the [next] button.
- To add recipient, select the additional person to be notified and the notification method, and click the [add] button.
- Click the [delete] button to delete the recipient.
- You can manage notification recipients by clicking the [manage notification recipient group] and [manage notification recipient] buttons. For more details on setting notification recipients, see notification settings and history management.
- Check the changes and click [OK].
Remove event
To change settings of the selected event, follow these steps:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Select NAS volume to remove event and click the [remove event] button.
- You can also delete individual events by clicking the [delete] button displayed in the NAS volume list.
- Click the [OK] button in the event settings deletion popup window.
- All events set in the selected NAS volume will be deleted at the same time.
- When you remove the event, the NAS volume will not be displayed on the Event page.
- If necessary, you can reset the event in Services > Storage > NAS (see event settings).
Event setting log
To view the event setting history, follow these steps:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Select NAS volume to view its event setting history and click the [event setting log] button.
- View the event setting change information in the event setting log popup window, and then click the [OK] button.
- Click the [download] button to download event setting logs as an excel file.
- The event setting log displays event setting information for the last three months.
Event log
To view the event history, follow these steps:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Select NAS volume to view its event history and click the [event log] button.
- View the event information in the event log popup window, and then click the [OK] button.
- Click the [download] button to download event setting logs as an excel file.
- The event log displays event information for the last seven days.
Notification settings and history management
To change the recipient of event notification in the NAVER Cloud Platform console, follow these steps:
- In the VPC environment of the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to
> Services > Storage > NAS. - Click event.
- Click the [View] button for the NAS volume to change the notification settings.
- Change the recipient settings in the notification setting popup window and then click the [OK] button.
- To add recipient, select the name of person to be notified and the notification method, and click the [add] button.
- Click the [delete] button to delete the recipient.
- To view the contacts for each group, click the [manage notification recipient group] button in the notification setting popup window.
- To add a recipient, click the [manage notification recipient] button in the notification setting popup window. For more information on adding a recipient, see add recipient.
